Spectra/Dyneema has a high tensile MBS but low MP and is subject to mechanical fatigue. This is not new information.

It's a damn shame karate crack is going to get so neglected. I hear some pigeons have already started roosting in there undisturbed cause no one knows about it anymore. And with good reason, it being tucked away out of view and everything.
I like skiing as much as the next guy but you guys need to chill out. There's at least a solid month of very good rock climbing before it's time to ski again.

Actually it was Glacier Peak, a way more technical and committing summit. Or did he get "rescued" off of Baker too? And were there SAR guys hiking up and camping next to him on that one?
