  1. so this was a mercy killing. quite understandable.
  2. He only wanted saddam in a coma? Doesn't make much sense but I'll consider your theory.
  3. It was to point out Schuldt somehow managed to misspell a punctuation mark. A new milemarker on the highway of hilarity.
  4. I thought it was to yell BLACKDIAMONDBLACKDIAMONDBLACKDIAMONDBLACKDIAMONDBLACKDIAMOND
  5. It simply doesn't get any more classic than this!!!!!1111one
  6. It doesn't peel off. I'm not sure how you would re-glue them, but I have had a pair of those for several years now (I think they're the same ones, but were a test pair) and they are just starting to show signs of glue weakness in one spot, and I treated them like garbage. I have almost set them on fire on multiple occasions drying them. In other words I am willing to replace them rather than go through the hassle of a re-glue.
  7. and quit talking about beacon here. It's going to be packed there next week just because of this.

  11. Scary huh? I get the screaming barfies occasionally but this is worse than that. You have done nerve damage to your fingertips. They will probably recover, but there is damage. You may find them to be more sensitive in the future, as stated.
  12. Having low genetic diversity in your herd puts them at risk to catastrophic loss from disease. There is the oft-referenced study of cheetah populations at risk from a small pool of code. You don't know what you don't know. Except for some here who seem to be experts on what they don't know.
  13. Even worse that you dug up a thread from Rodchester about this.
  14. Know some folks that don't plan on heading back for that one again soon. Lots of "skipped the nixon-era bolts to place gear instead" talk. Not a casual 5.9 I guess.
  15. ack, all bets are off if there's rockface. JOOREEOEEERRB
  16. it would be a good community service to list what is needed to climb to the summit. so far we have: icepick crockpot tauntaun (cow may be acceptable in a pinch, but not sure) map (unknown where to get these. maybe there is a map to where they are) watch (doesn't really matter which one, but it must be as big as a wallclock) MLU, PLB, MRE, COW (really any 3-letter thing) a full iron spit is useful for the impromptu turkey cookoff.
  17. and climb with some old dude who clearly should not be climbing anything besides an escalator.
  18. maybe if those guys on hood had trained on the totem pole like eastwood they would have made it. sunny desert sandstone is ideal training ground for the spider
  19. Did the helo short-haul in a SAR crockpot (swathed in reflective tape, six 1" webbing sausages hanging down, 18 mirror-polished locking carabiners, weighs twice as much as necessary)?
  20. The Eiger NF sports several bolted lines. The question is, what are those bolts bolted to mwhahaha bring your blue construction helmet just like Eastwood.
  21. FKNA Futureman rocks. Straight out of the year 2020.
  22. this is a great winter tale, thanks!
