Dyneema as a material is degraded by UV, correct? So wouldn't it follow that a pack made with an extremely thin dyneema fabric would be degraded fairly quickly and fall apart under normal outdoor UV exposure? Anyone know how long this theoretical breakdown would take in reality?

Tyler, I was at smith over MLK and a number of people thought your rope was set up to be the rope swing somewhere near there. A lot of people swung around on that thing regardless of the coreshot. I know you are doing lots of cool shit at smith that doesnt get done much, but you have got to stop leaving ropes hanging off every blank face. They are an attractive nuisance and an eyesore. I could care less about ropes left up in obscure places, but leaving them on frontside smith walls is not good. <3 Ian

God I hope not. From a safety standpoint it would be nice but that is a wilderness area and uncontrolled so climbers could be there at any time.

I've never seen those cam nuts before. Any reason they aren'y still in use? It seems like a great idea, or at least good for some finicky, specific uses.
