Hey look, its PINK free soloing Little Wing at Beacon. Pink has soloed more rock at Beacon than most climbers climb with a rope in an entire career there.

Well spoken G-spotter, bravo, bravo. I usually bag on climbs that are underbolted with little pro, rotten rock and there was a remarkable amount of undo stress involved. The UE has remarkable rock quality, amazing views, lots of good pitches stacked on each other, great protection and you top out on the highest point on ALL the three peaks in Squamish. If you find fault in these things on any giving climb, than check your ego at the door, because its fuckin huge. Sorry bill, when Mags and I did it, we had no camera. Too bad it was a bluebird day.

1/2 a move of 5.8? You must climb 5.13 on a regular basis to make that comment. I personaly thought the bolting job on the first pitch was bogus. The third bolt is about 12 inchs to high. Did you not know what you were getting into? As far as what kind of climbing? I would repeat the route anytime myself.

I am told (but have not myself) that you can walk off completely by stay to the right on the summit and heading back and up instead of heading down and left towards the rap on the painted bowl. Then down and left brings you to the bottom of the rap. Anyone done this? We ended up rapping the painted bowl. 2 raps, then along beautiful walk down.

I have done this climb a couple of times. Its the crags warm up for most climbers. She is right at the crux. Another 30 feet brings her to the anchor. 10.b. Great climb.
