Hey cindy66....you have offically taken over as the newbie drama, posting, have way to much time on your hands, not funny, wants to raise my post count, crazy, illiterate, lame, poster.
Vancouver does need its own climbing gym. There is a lot of money in East Couv.....who is throwing down for the gym?
Into rock climbing? you are probably going to have to go to a Ptown gym if you want a serious gym. Or try the Mazama's.
Rocky Butte is a great place to climb if you don’t mind glass on ledges, porn everywhere, graffiti, and punk kids getting high in the woods at the top of cliff. The same kids throwing empty bottles of what ever they just emptied in their system down at you. Kids messing with your anchors, and your car getting broken into. Oh yeah and the noisy freeway a 100 yards away. If all that is cool with you, then Rocky Butte is a great summer crag. About the only thing it does have going for it is the actual climbing is pretty good and it’s always in the shade, which makes is a good summer crag. I have climbed there 4 times. There is a reason I have only been there 4 times in 10 years.
Great job on finishing it. My advise would be to never do that scary thing again. Go left out North Overhang. Its a much better climb. Once again.....great job.
JT rules.
No friggin' way! Could you tell us what happened? I've been climbing for 33 years and RB is far and away the most dangerous place I've ever climbed.
Dont know if she is full of shit....but I do recall this injury
