  1. That was brilliant. I was sold long ago and have never looked back.
  2. I was afraid the ask the same question. Thanks for stepping up.
  3. Or ski with climbing boots. I'm going to push that paradigm and get as much skiing (approach and descent) with a pair of tightly laced Verticals. They fit like a glove and though they aren't nearly as stiff as the G-Fits I've used, I really like the way they climb. But definitely not a day-to-day ski boot.
  4. That's a good question. Do they close that road incrementally (if that's possible) as the snow falls at specific elevations? Or do they shut it down at the bottom at the fork as soon as any significant snow falls?
  5. That was an outrageous story. I would have bailed much sooner. I was really surprised he took all the abuse. It has nothing to do with being a hardman on a big wall, give me a break. Those guys were complete mother-fuckers who will one day get paid back dearly.
  6. It's only a parole violation if they find out.
  7. I saw it too and I agree. That one Jeep segment was over the top with the skiers and they're Jeep Logo on their backs. JEEP...JEEP...JEEP...blah blah blah. And $25 a ticket?? That's it for me. The music wasn't too bad though.
  8. Lowbrow...perfect.
  9. I'm hard pressed to think that a roof-top rack system is designed to hold "two adults and two children." That's what possibly 500 lbs.? Plus gear?? And the tent itself weighs 118 lbs. That's a lot of weight for your gutters or roof top.
  10. Great job Tony! That was an awesome TR.
  11. Seems like a smart business move and a great way to service your customers. That's great news. Thank you!
  12. So? Potato with an "e" and confirm with a "k." I get it. This should be in spray anyway.
  13. I haven't seen the picture yet, but I have studied the crater walls and am wondering how you could simply make a few turns and then turn around. I'm thinking you're pretty committed once you take the plunge. But maybe I'm wrong.
  14. It's only misleading if your mind is in the gutter! Welcome to the ditch!
  15. You're right, it looks VERY thin in spots. Very nice work.
  16. That must have been one big bird!
  17. The perspective seems right, but what's below them...how much of a drop? If it's very much then I would agree.

    Free Solo 5.7

    This is awesome.
  19. This should be in Spray. But since your throwin' down. Oregon is going to kick your fucking ass...BITCH.
  20. No Shit. Thanks Ivan.
  21. Awesome! I don't know how I missed this thread over the last few weeks, but I am way down with the Hood thing. That is right up my ally. The DT night looks very tasty too! NOLSe, I'll PM you.
  22. Is that really true? Is it that they'll pop out under stress or that there just simply isn't enough support. You have me kind of bummed now. I was planning on using my Verticals with a Rando setup of Naxo01 and some Shuksans. I realize I'm not going to get anything near the performance of an AT boot, but I was assuming they'd at least work on some acceptable level.

    Too Many Kids!

Hey, I can appreciate a child. But this is just too many fucking kids! Arkansas no less...I bet they have trouble remembering their names: "including two sets of twins, and each child has a name beginning with the letter "J": Joshua, 17; John David, 15; Janna, 15; Jill, 14; Jessa, 12; Jinger, 11; Joseph, 10; Josiah, 9; Joy-Anna, 8; Jeremiah, 6; Jedidiah, 6; Jason, 5; James, 4; Justin, 2; and Jackson Levi, 1."
  24. After reading several of Greg's entertaining posts and TR, I would say that there is a high likelyhood that he broke it during one of his evenings at a high bivy...
