  1. if you are doing the white salmon, then go with wet planet. Grated raft guides are more pathetic then climbing guides, they seem the lesser of the evils.
  2. that the best part of a ciggarette is when you are done and you just throw that burning ember out of your car window in august while driving down I-5. There is something soo satisfying about shutting down the freeway, destroying public and private property and affecting thousands of stangers lives in a negative way by your sole act of carelessness. I am sure the people who lost their home feel the same way! Thanks ciggarette smokers for allowing your nasty habit affect everyone! It makes one think that maybe turn signals and ash trays are really just for looks???

  8. hey distel it aint no troll. we came accross a crag thqat was developed in the early 90's abandoned and then some people have started to "develop" more of the crag in the last few months or so. they only put in bolts and avoid the cracks, tho they admit to bolting some placements for the ease of climbing the route, its weird tho as the person told me they avoid bolting cracks, yet they admited to doing so. they also asked us not to really climb there as they wanted to control it. the funny thing is they did not discover and it has been mentioned on the net b4(not this site) which is what we find bullshit. matter of fact i am going there in an hour or so to climb the cracks and avoid their bolted face contrivences. i almost want to talk to the land managers cuz in some ways i think it is in a wilderness area they have been using an electric roto hammer, the thing that prevents me from doing so is the quality of the crag.
  9. i might be down let me get hold of you when i get back.
  10. the fires are cuasing haze here in hood river too.
  11. Does anyone have a say on who can or cannot climb at a 'secret crag' if it's on public land? No one, right?
  12. the 80's are dead, get over it.
  13. Leave the brightest and least frayed pieces up there, and just rap on what is left.
  14. Also the larger vehicle allows them to haul personel as well. It actually makes sense to have the Tool driving them around as opposed to some fuckstick in Seattle sporting it. Tho I draw the line at night vision and and satelite internet in the rig.
  15. To tow a trailer larger then 2000lbs you need a truck thatis larger, hence the 3/4 ton suv. Ford gives volume discounts to the tool to purchase these vehicles.
  16. Because you live in an industrial waste land with a marine inversion trapping the shit in the air.
  17. take the ferry and head over to the olympics.
  18. 260 miles seperates Flag and Tucson, Distel that means you will have to drive 180mph to get there.
  19. looking out my front window it looks pretty darn bare..tho i am sure you kind find something to entertain yourself.
  20. I don't think a route within eyesight/earshot of the highway is a wilderness experience.
  21. that one after johnny got his gun, it runs with the ww2 theme. tho o'brien writes quite well too.
  22. Catch-22 is soo funny! follow that one up with "Johnny's got his gun"
  23. fuck yeah he is and he used that bullshit word "ultramafic"
  24. because the pollocks already had an obvious hold on that one.
