Thanks, you guys for being such great stewards of our local crag(s)...we appreciate it. (Pass that on to J.O. as well …) Hey Bill, let me know when the fund-raiser comes around...and if you need any additional muscle. I’m always down for contributing to the cause. I can have Eric lift me up on his shoulders to clean the upper pitches. Have a great day…see you out there ~RB

It's keeping up with the stride of a 6'7" giant on the flatlands...makes me feel like a freakin midget Okay, E, let's hit the West Face...I'll take P2, I need the practice

Yep, perdy exciting I heard a *POP* (woke me up outta my sleep...gotta love belaying aid) Then...*ping, ping, ping, ping, ping*...down went the (presumable) sleeve Eric was feeling pretty burly as it was...for P2, he worked the 5.9 sh*t rock crack, as opposed to traversing the death-rope-drag 5.4 variation...he took about a 10' fall on, what appeared to be, a manky cam Let's see...all of this after my near loss of a nalgene bottle to the river's foilage below...and a near loss of a #3 stopper on P1 Great route, great pardner, great time Sp what are we doing next weekend E?

The one I butchered when first moving here is: Willamette (will-am-et) not (william-et) or (will-a-met)

SF, Nailed it to a freakin' T He peeled while slapping for the first reachy fingerlock...after that, it was all him. I gave it a run...figured it was .11-ish...cuz Bill sent me a PM asking if was feeling strong. So I could only assume he had some work cut out for me. I got worked...and now have the moves permanently etched in my mind (which is what happens when you do the same moves over and over and over and over again) LoL He hops back on it...I keep the rope snug but not tight through the opening sequence to keep him from crushing the ferns below. Other than that, it was ALL him. For the "Couch Master" he makes short work of those sustained routes Bad-Ass Bill, we call him LoL

We were climbing over on toothpick wall. Bill set up Blueberry Jam (5.10) and Toothpick (5.11c) I kept looking for the paddle on Toothpick...cuz I was getting my ass SPANKED!!!

Ivan threw me into a crevasse Ok, not exactly...1st he b*tched at some poor ol' lass who was complaining about his early morning ramblings outside of her tent...hard to believe anyone is still asleep at 7 a.m. in a public camp ground lol Worked our way to the lower part of the Elliot and 'tooled' around there for a bit...working our way through various ice formations 'til we got shut down and had to escape to an adjacent snow slope. Then we found a 20' deep crevasse to practice rescue techniques. Placed ice pro, rigged a z-pulley, rap'd down into the very narrow crevasse and jumarred out Good times...Thanks "E"
