There was a debate? Sorry I was watching my kid's baseball game. I'm sure the debate was better though.

[TR] North Twin Sister - West Ridge 6/12/2011
KaskadskyjKozak replied to KaskadskyjKozak's topic in North Cascades
Yes, indeed! My only regret is we brought a 30 m rope and some pro and never needed it. A few pounds less in the pack would have made things even more pleasant. -
Was the final rock scramble snow-free?

Trip: North Twin Sister - West Ridge Date: 6/12/2011 Trip Report: I had stuff to do Saturday at home but didn't want to squander the weekend's weather without something so I called around and got a few bites to do N. Twin Sister. We opted to ride/push bikes as far as we could. As it turned out, snow started at about 3800 foot elevation, and our objective soon came clearly into view: We ascended the "trail" at road's end (4100 feet) but it was all snow: Soon we started the scrambling - class 3 and 4 on grippy, mostly solid rock: In some places the scrambling was class 4: More joyful scrambling: Eventually our work paid off as clouds lifted and surrounding summits came into view: With some food and hydration, we began to downclimb the north slope (45 degrees), and lower down glissaded. After some easy plungestepping and traversing we retrieved our bikes. The ride out was exhilirating and fast! Gear Notes: Ice axe, bikes. Approach Notes: Snow beginning around 3800 feet.

They were out in force at Tieton two weekends ago as well. -
Wow, totally unexpected. Thanks for the update!

You're such a joke. Really.

If only everyone would just read the books prescribed by Prole, then they would see the light, and think properly. Exposure to these truths will result in a proper and complete education. Only the insane and stupid will fail to come to the same opinions and conclusions as Prole.

"narrative" comes straight from your progressive sheeple group-think material

from "narratives" and "memes" to "bro".

19th century immigrants views have been saved fairly well and are definetly part of a basic history class - their narrative is not lost -however, their views were often no more enlightened then the natives - i'm sure you're aware of the irish hatred of blacks in new york, for example? i am not paying tribute to the 2 poles i mentioned - i also would like to live in a compassionate land that makes up for its historical evils by continuing to welcome new people - nevertheless, i would be a great fool if i did not acknowledge that, historically, the vast population of our fair republic falls into 1 of the 2 camps i described, and thus we have a situation that is unlikely to change or get better Clueless utopians have a problem with reality, especially since it always falls short of their misguided and unrealistic expectations.

You have no idea what, or how much I read, fuckwit.

Try reading a book, ya fucking meathead! or, more specifically, a set of narrow-ranged books using similar terminology, and drawing similar conclusions. Ur so smart, Prole.

"white" - race card, par for the course for progressive scum "nativist historiography" - more progressive sheeple talk

Namely, pointing out that the range of immigration debate or the voices worth listening to isn't limited to xenophobes on one end and exploiters on the other? That the immigration "problem" is mostly a fiction? Please be more specific. Only you and progressives are smart enough to define the valid parameters of discussion. Leave that narrow range and it's the same bullshit from you about how we're all dumb, duped, whatever. You and j-bot should just go find a closet somewhere for your endless circle-jerks. No, it's about broadening the range to include more voices and recognizing that what passes for a broad spectrum on any number of issues (economic policy, foreign policy, energy, etc. ) has actually been quite limited. How many examples do you need? If we're to go about solving problems and getting out of the various ruts we're in (don't worry, I know you don't personally give a fuck so nobody's asking you to think about anything), then we should try and identify the narratives that dominate our media space, how they're produced, and who benefits from them. "narrative"? You don't think that your lexicon evinces a very specific progressive group-think, and narrow-minded, homogenized world-view? Hint: the only two posters who use the term "narrative" on this site - repeatedly, I will add - are you and j_bot. Thanks for the laugh "meme"-bro.

gawd, you're a whiny bitch. Ivan is about as far from conservative as you can get, but just because he doesn't toe your pathetic inflexible progressive shit-head line, you have to spew more of you ridiculous disdain. As for immigrants, the poor, etc, they're all "beneath" you anyways, so quit pretending you care about - rather than disdain - them.
