  1. Forgetting the past is another good thing. what were we talking about?
  2. foraker, I don't think FW could be saying that a gov't shouldn't be influenced by religious entities; otherwise, he could not agree with the "Free Tibet" campaign. Not only that, but saying that the gov't shouldn't be influenced by religion would deny that the beliefs held by the writers of our own Constitution were infused throughout the documents that serve as the pillars of our political system.
  3. It's really amazing how many chick buy into that bullshit "lifestyle" crap. yeah, girls are dumb
  4. Apparently they don't need to.
  5. Does MD 20/20 come in gallon-sized servings? I hate having tons of bottles clinking around...
  6. "Got anything to declare?" "Yeah, don't go to England."
  7. It's like saying he declares the space around Pluto as a no fly zone to keep carbon dioxide out of that area.
  8. Were you wearing your crapalene thong?
  9. These waters are so remote no one goes there anyway. And WTF is the federal gov't going to do to "manage" this "park" anyway? Lame.
  10. That's easy to answer. *I* have the bigger dick.
  11. What a great thread. I especially like when Jon tells Dwayner that he posts stuff that is defaming to women; and then later posts this: Nice.
  12. You are right that while in shock, a person's circulatory system will prevent blood from going to the extremities at a normal flow rate (hence the coldness that a person feels). However, it does go to the organs--that is why extremity flow goes down--to save the organs and keep them oxygenated. And as CBS said, blood loss is not necessary. Shock can be induced through mental trauma. The body has a hard time differentiating between the two. I can ask my best friend Cari, a physician, why this is so (unless someone else can answer here before I get to her)
  13. Anyone has the option to bust out a rope and belay themselves across this ledge. If you worried about slipping get a belay. No fixed rope. agreed. Glad to hear the guy is going to be okay. It would be interesting to hear what his opinion is on the fixed line vs. belay.

    1. Identify said "Something" 2. Confirm that "Something" is, indeed, in Everything 3. Set to cheesy porn-background music and play for your date while profusely apologizing for not having Barry White albums to really set the mood.

  18. Glad I wasn't the only one with that reaction.
  19. Go brotherhood.
  20. Sure, it's just more run out.
  21. Fortunately, that's not what I am looking for. However, if there were only one answer out there, I wouldn't need to solicit input and save a bunch of hassle, eh? Pantera rules.
  22. this is a good ending: Pagliaro said the best advice he can give for anyone wanting to start climbing is to “make sure you learn from people who know what they’re talking about and take your time getting into the sport. Make sure you get in lots of practice on beginner and intermediate routes before you jump into a route like Infinite Bliss.” The underlying assumption sounds like folks immediately think that now the route is bolted, any schmoe can run up it. This is the psychological side of bolting that I am not sure I like.
  23. “Most people who want to climb don’t want to be hard-core climbers. If the only types of routes available were traditional routes, there would be fewer climbers." Now *that* would be infinite bliss.
  24. One month since they've been seen.
