    police radar

Take it from the king of tickets: I have found all radar guns do against laser based radar guns (what most cops carry these days) is tell you that you are going to get a ticket... that is if your detector has gone off they already know your speed. With that said radar detectors do help and detect way early: - cops using older radar guns (like the rangers in Rainier National Park ) - those mobile "your speed is" things that take your picture if you are over... (sidenote: tape over the license plate is a great way to have some fun... see how high you can get the thing to register). - Any small town that can’t afford to purchase fancy laser detectors If you do get one make sure you can take it down quickly... you will not get off if you have a radar detector in plain sight. And any pro military, EMT trained, or Police officer support stickers always help. And if you have any membership cards for volunteer groups (the boy scouts, SAR, etc) keep this card behind your license and make sure the cop sees it when you take your license out of your wallet.

  15. I tried to post this in the access issue section but got the "a moderator is looking you post over" response... that was days ago (if a mod wants to move this cool). As input can't wait I am posting this here... please please please take 5 minutes out of your spray time and use the prepared attached letters (Word or PDF) and fire one off. Even if you are a WA kid... Madrone is an excellent place that you will likely climb at some day. Feel free to copy and email to others. Thanks for your help! AN OPEN LETTER: URGENT REQUEST FOR PUBLIC INPUT/MADRONE WALL: I was asked by Bob McGown, Chair of the American Alpine Club - Oregon Section, to prepare a sample letter that people could use as a template to provide their own input to the Clackamas County Board of Commissioners regarding their upcoming decision on the future of the Madrone Wall. Please see that which I have attached (along with an advertisement that we will are preparing to run in several newspapers). I ask you to forward this sample letter on to those on your email lists, your friends, family - whoever may write or email the Commissioners. The Commissioners are deliberating the future of this amazing civic treasure and are scheduled to make a decision later this fall on the future use. Now is the time to make your voice heard. Even with all the good will and activity generated in the last six months to elevate the awareness, to date, only a few dozen people have written or emailed the Commissioners. Because so many are so interested in preserving this site and would like to visit it again, I believe that we, as a community, can offer much more constructive input to the Commissioners. Please take a moment to write your own letter or simply modify the sample letter I've provided and send or email it to the Commissioners and help us save this treasure for all time. Thank you. 17. Add a little more time for rest and rehydration at Muir (2 or even 3 would be great... grab a nap). And it will be super crowded. Looks good. Good Luck!
  18. That was 4 seperate trips though. And you forgot it's gay. Hey: where is my rap wall topo d00d?!?!?!
  19. Nothing. It is gay though.
  20. It wasn't the first date but close enough. I met this amazing girl and had coffee with her the night before. I don’t subscribe to that 3 day waiting period call back bullshit (especially when I could tell this girl was/is so perfect that if I did wait that long likely some other guy would come along and scoop her up) so I had called to thank her for the night before (and maybe weasel a second) but got her voicemail so I left a message... A few hours later I was in the ER getting IV bags pumped into me after coming down hard with a stomach virus (lesson to all: drink untreated water and it will catch up with you eventually… guaranteed…. Take a chance shit your pants!). She just happened to call me back after I had checked in and in my medicated state I revealed I was at the ER… Big mistake! I had forgotten she goes to dental school at the same hospital. She was like… oh… I’m 5 minutes away… I just drop by. So not 12 hours after our first date she is sitting there listening to me give the doctor my symptoms (stool and vomit description, amount, frequency, etc), medical history, etc all while I sit there in a robe with my previously hidden tattoos showing (“oh… you have tattoos?!?!?) showing… Fuck me. And the whole time I'm trying to not puke or fart in front of her (crux of the night... if you have ever had explosive diarrhea you know what I am talking about) I kept telling myself “at least when she doesn’t call you back you have a good excuse”. But what do you know… 5 months later and she is still around!
