If you just plan on just hanging out bring yourself, some cash if you plan on entering the raffles, a happy face and an extra liver for all the . If you have sent an email to pdxicefestival@gmail.com then you are already entered in the raffle for the 9.8 70m Monster. If you have not sent an email yet and wouldn't mind a new rope I would encourage you to do so! If you plan on climbing bring: a harness, helmet, rock shoes and ice tools (though you can always just use the demo tools). Chalk bag would be wise but I'll let you decide that one If you plan on demoing some crampons (BD and Petzl will have all their crampons there) and/or boots (Vasque and La Sportiva will have some boots there) bring either your boots or plan on using some of the demo boots for the crampon demo. Regardless bring a pair of mountaineering socks... unless you climb in white tube socks. If you plan on competing make sure you bring an excuse for why you got your butt kicked in case you do And being that frankly a surprising number of females have preregistered for this event... I'd say more than are on this website... a clean shirt and a shave might not hurt See you all there!

Just email or call Bugz and ask them if they have any dealers in your area that stock the model you want. They should know... I had to do the same thing with Kayland last winter. bugz@bugzusa.com.au Also if memory serves me here I believe Liberty Mtn USA or Climb High distributed a company that offered something like that... I never saw them in stock... only in the catalog. Might be worth a look though.

TR. No need for lead/belay cards

We sold them at McKenkie Outfitters when I worked there years ago... I prefer a true set of goggles as paired with a bavaclava you cover all exposed skin where as with those you'd have some showing...

http://www.amazon.com/Bugz-Classicz/dp/B0002XKJ92 http://www.bugzusa.com.au/pages/bugz.html You could always use a pair of arabian goggles

For what it is or isn't worth I ice crag on a blend of quick draws, screamers and tied runners... you can use the tied runners for V thread material... Matter of fact I rock crag (smith, etc) on quick draws and tied runners also... I'm too cheap and those skinny runners wear out to fast
