Muy Bueno Any chance Trask or some other mod is going to add Idaho and Montana trips to our bloated Trip Report Index?
-
I have a Grivel Trigger I picked up last year, just before all the ice melted I should put it on. The Strikes didn't look like they'd fit. The viper strike doesn't fit the quark but a visit to your local bike shop will do the trick. FYI grivel triggers: depending on where you place the trigger on a quark will decide which size trigger you need. Speaking of if you have the newer style trigger and cut the trigger portion off and mount the remaining piece backwards this will also work as an upper hand position/same thing the strike does.

Montana and Idaho forums need a moderator. And a TR button.

Climbing issue 221 has a one page article on what Marcus just described. West Marine in SW PDX stocks stainless steel T nuts and hardwear.

Does it look like this? -
It does an elevation profile in between each point once you have 2 or more points but you have to select it... it doesn't show it on the default setting. I like it for in town pavement pounding when I don't want to go drive the loop I just ran to know how far I went. So that's my problem

Experience w/ Metolius Offset Ultralights?

They walk like an SOB. I like c3s and/or hybrids better -
That and since I am route setting it wouldn't be fair if I competed (same with Marcus) so I won't be. I bet BillCoe is going to dust off his Foot Fangs and Chouinard Zeros and spank all you

If you just plan on just hanging out bring yourself, some cash if you plan on entering the raffles, a happy face and an extra liver for all the . If you have sent an email to pdxicefestival@gmail.com then you are already entered in the raffle for the 9.8 70m Monster. If you have not sent an email yet and wouldn't mind a new rope I would encourage you to do so! If you plan on climbing bring: a harness, helmet, rock shoes and ice tools (though you can always just use the demo tools). Chalk bag would be wise but I'll let you decide that one If you plan on demoing some crampons (BD and Petzl will have all their crampons there) and/or boots (Vasque and La Sportiva will have some boots there) bring either your boots or plan on using some of the demo boots for the crampon demo. Regardless bring a pair of mountaineering socks... unless you climb in white tube socks. If you plan on competing make sure you bring an excuse for why you got your butt kicked in case you do And being that frankly a surprising number of females have preregistered for this event... I'd say more than are on this website... a clean shirt and a shave might not hurt See you all there!
