  1. Chatter Creek group site has a nice shelter with a fireplace in it. I'll be headed up Friday evening Senor Goat.
  2. Isn't it called the Yosemite Decimal System?
  3. Well, you risked it, and yes, you do appear to be a bit of a curmudgeon. Lucky for you we accept all kinds here. CC.com was down for 20 minutes or so for some maintainance last night. I do have some good inside jokes if you would like to hear them.
  4. A REAL WOMAN! Thanks muff.
  5. Actually, I want to see you Archenemy. Ropeup?

perhaps you may be the woman to tame Blake after all.
  7. Evil Doers threaten the CC.COM interweb! Thank gawd Jon and I were diligently monitoring it 24X7 and were able to come to a superhuman rescue!!!
  8. i heard those henchmen are starting a union. good bye clever emoticon gifs at a moments notice!
  9. isn't this the dog they shot into outer space?
  10. yeah, commander....that post wasn't quite ready for prime time.
  11. I'll leave it for you to figure out why it isn't cool. Like I said, best of luck. The Access Fund is a great cause.
  12. All I'm saying is this and I'm finished with this topic. I set the Ropeup date way back on August 4th (and I actually scheduled it around the date you originally set this thing for). Ropeup is a party put on for CC.com by CC.com that has no sponsorship other than the companies that support this website. It was a pretty good time last year, and I'm sure its going to be fun once again. The beer is just as free this year as it was last year, but this time we're accepting donations for Kurt's recovery fund. Too bad you had to pick this date, I'm sure both events will have an impact on the other's attendance. Best of luck with your fest.
  13. no.
  14. too bad it is the same weekend as the Ropeup. WTF? you asked me to work around your date and then went ahead and scheduled this on the same date as Ropeup? Not cool.
  15. If you want to watch MNF, you must have cable. That's right...its on ESPN, which you can't get with the cheap cable option. So unless you got ESPN or plan on going to a bar, then you lose. See you in hell suckers.
  16. you're all banned.
  17. Yes, some are truly calling for originality in your TR prose. It is a challenge, who will rise to the call?
  18. Ross, think of these climbs as poems. We're each interpreting a the poem in our own way, with our own experience. To some, the poem is an epic one. To others, a hiaku.
  19. But imagine if a sniffling sycophant wants to read your diary with hopes of savoring the bread crumbs of your send of the dog route? What if the cube walls would come crushing in if we didn't hear about the 1000000000000000th ascent of das toof? Open up your diary, Master Choad, and let the little people like me have a peek at a true alpinist. With pics please. Condescend to post your experiences Master Choad, and inspire the masses.
  20. The number reason to log on to CC.com is to see what Cobra is up to. His prose really is extraordinary, and the wit, the wit...don't get me started about the wit. And to read TRs too. Those are good. Imagine if Cobra posted a TR? I'd hate to see what would happen to my keyboard and monitor.
  21. I would miss your postings Gary. Please don't leave. Just use the *ignore this user* feature.
  22. again, with more feeling this time
  23. Bought by Columbia Sportswear out of bankruptcy court in March.
  24. Don't forget option 6, Godman made them do it
  25. I was in NY just a few months before 9/11 and went to the trade center to go up to the top floors to check out the view (or whatever floor they allowed you to go to), but the line to go up was too long. We waited in line for a while, but then decided to go do something else, and I specifically remember saying "ah well, we will go up there next time we are here". It made it pretty powerful to see those buildings falling down when you had just been there to see how huge they were.
