My original "sheeple" comment is for those cow-eyed morons who attend rallies, jump up and down cheering and squeeling like little girls in support of their candidate. It seems the Obama camp has many more of these types than the McCain camp. They take the propaganda at face value like the clueless suckers that they are. Obama and McCain will undoubtedly have very different administrations. You have to support one of the two. Duh. But the sheeple are embarassing at best, and dangerous at worst. History repeats itself, and one too many movie clips of cheering herds from the past comes to mind. well that changes things! enthusiasm is a dangerous thing! but then imagine if no one had it...perhaps the world would be a better place? some of those people there may not be sheeple at all, but people who recognize that supporting the apparent winner can be financially advantageous if they are correct how is that for cynicism?

btw, the HOPE i mention has nothing to do with anyone's appropriated campaign slogon, but rather with a faith in this country to turn its self around from the havoc that has been brought about by the current administration. perhaps time will tell that things were not so bad and bush jr. will be viewed as a visionary president and put on a coin or something...but the chances of that happening are pretty much null imo. and out of the two POLITICIANS you have to choose from this time around, who do you think has the better chance of doing that? i think you can make arguments for either, depending on what your point of view is. but to not vote for for either, well that is your choice...but one of these two WILL win. You can always vote for Nader, at least then you wouldn't be throwing away your vote and giving up on the country.

you're making assumptions about what i'm assuming, and you're incorrect bill. and if you do think there will be NO difference in the result of one of these two being elected...well you're the one who is mistaken. the chances of either of them turning around the train? unlikely. but if you don't have the AUDACITY to hope , then I feel sad for you and your children. as a parent i feel reponsible to at least find some glimmer of hope, even if the road might be tough. otherwise you're just a debbie downer.

unfortunately a side effect of having our form of government is the politicians. now if you don't love it, get the hell out.
