  6. Looks like a good group will be up there. I have 30+ by this thread (not counting those just spraying here and wishing they could come). Headed to Costco to pick up some snausages/buns tonight. Picking up the kegs tomorrow afternoon and heading up!
  7. Toko, you still going to be able to bring this? Yes, it will be full of hot coffee and am trying to round up another airpot. Cream, sugar, swizzle sticks...........anything else.........perhaps some hot sticky buns?? you need me to bring any coffee for it? drip grind?
  8. I'm referring to the "one mistake and you're done" type risk taken, as well as the personality type that would take on such activities.
  9. I went and saw that movie a couple of weeks ago. There is a very interesting parallel between extremo wirewalking and free soloing. It was insane to watch him walking back and forth between the two towers. And of course, at the end of the movie when he runs off shags some random chick instead of his girlfriend...well...that wasn't too romantic. Great movie for sure. Even found a kids book about it the other day. http://www.amazon.com/Man-Who-Walked-Between-Towers/dp/031236878X/ref=pd_bbs_4?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1223568941&sr=8-4
  10. I remember holding hands with Kim at Yankee Stadium. That look in her eyes wrung my soul dry, and it was all I could do to fight gravity and not fall to my knees in the drunkness that is love.
  11. This could be one of the most romantic Ropeups yet!
  12. Sarah, remember that special moment we shared up in Mudflats?

  17. is it possible to keep even one thread in a positive realm?
  18. I have living proof John! Can you say the same?? But could it be based on John???? He is called out directly in the credits!!
  19. Melissa helped out this year with the kids ropeup! Thats some funny stuff there. As a MAN I don't read romance novels, but I'll trust that the studly Jake Porter was solely based on my posting here on cc.com! Anyway, if you all keep your negative comments out of this thread it would be appreciated. Lets have some positive support for a member of our community.

  22. I think if she changed her stance on some issues, dropped the whole folksy schitck, actually travel the world a little to broaden her perspective, started to read, got operation to change her voice to avoid the chalkboard screech that comes out every time she opens her mouth, and a few other things...well I'd be ready to vote for that woman. until then its like nailing jello to a wall.
