a lot of people here bag on this fashion, but i've been thinking about it alot lately. it seems like its probably the most efficient summertime dress of the northwest. you see, you have the shorts for wearing during the day and when things are warmer...put at night or if the brush/conditions warrent it, you just slip the polypro underneath and wham! you're fully protected and its a great warmth retainer. its much more efficient than bringing both shorts and pants, and those pants that have the legs zip off are super, super DORKEY and prone to failure. what if the zipper breaks? that could be the difference between a good trip and a bad one. better to rely on the old standard. plus polypro clings to the legs providing better aerodynamics.

I just wish the Islamists would give us Christians their oil without this stupid fight. Its all we want with that area anyway. That and their virgins.

Monte Piton (Curt) got hurt after falling on Colchuck. The reason behind the incident appear to be well described in the newspaper link below, but it was related to a lightening strike and his rope getting chopped. First mentioned here: http://cascadeclimbers.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/888798/Re_TR_Alpine_Lakes_Colchuck_an#Post888798 Article about the accident: http://www.justgetout.net/Wenatchee/16544 At any rate, not a thread to discuss the details of the accident, but to wish Curt a quick recovery from his accident. I'm sure a few of you know him. Best wishes Curt! Caring Bridge: http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/curthaire

Regardless of the legality, I've always just thought it to be in good taste to ask permission...especially if you're using it for something "official". Here is a funny story: http://www.extraordinarymommy.com/blog/are-you-kidding-me/stolen-picture/
-
Well it seems like an obvious answer, maybe i'm not getting your question? Only use photos with permission from the owner would seem to be the common sense rule of thumb.

I can ban you for the following prices: 1 day = 20 dollars 1 week = 100 dollars 1 year = 1000 dollars All funds are U.S. dollars. No problem sticking up for you! I think mostly that Raindawg is impaired such that he mainly has to communicate with pictures to express himself fully. He likely lacks the necessary vocabulary to communicate fully in the written form. It is possible that part of his hippocampus is damaged, but this is pure speculation. I do enjoy Sunday morning cartoons. Another good one is the one with the mouse and the cat entitled "Tom and Jerry". Its just that most people are here about climbing and climbing talk, not to see people bash each other over the head with a mallet (no matter how lovingly).

Microbe Awakens After 120,000 Years Under the Ice

Is this microbe complaining about sport climbing? -

All but the very lowest vegetables have been removed as of yesterday (wet dream) Joe on Magic Fern
-
i would like to replace that tat with chains.
-
no, we just used a directional from an anchor we built to the lower left of the rap anchors that appear to serve the climbs on that section of rock.
-
I assume you're talking about Wet Dream. I cleaned this route 2 years ago only to find ferns and blackberries growing out of it 2 months later. I have never seen it dry, so it's probably not worth the effort. If it were clean and dry, it would be fun though. lol we saw this on the list of cleaned climbs and it had many large green things growing out of it. we thought maybe a practical joke was being played by putting it on the "cleaned" list? jerf ripped them all out and climbed it on TR. It was dry as of tonight! But then we are 28 days without rain (almost a record I believe) and of course it is going to rain any day...so it won't be dry for long. All the vegetation is gone from it except at the very bottom. I'm thinking of dipping into CC.com funds and going up and replacing the webbing on the rap anchors (bolts) for that immediate crag with chains.
