I had a feature added to the TR tool, so when you post a TR you can add other CascadeClimber forum members to you "team". To do so, there is a "Team" field and you type in their name. They are then found, and you need to click on the found name to add it to your TR. Its pretty simple, only thing is, I didn't realize you need to click on the name to select it and the change to the button that selects the users is slight. I'm seeing if I can modify that.

As shared by @CascadeClimber in another thread, but with a clear call to action in the post title: https://www.change.org/p/restore-mount-rainier-weekday-winter-access/ Also his list of effective instructions:

Great to see you all and if you didn’t make it you were missed! Thank you to @Alissefor buying me beer. Thank you to all who shared your ideas about this site, keep it coming. Thank you for coming out. I’m looking forward to the next one, time to get off the couch, share a brew, plan and adventure, and trade lies.

Oh...and I guess we need to do something to make it clear if you don't know people how to identify a CascadeClimber. Maybe I'll wear a helmet (it may be a bike helmet, not the usual climbing helmet). Or actually...just ask the bar tender. I'll tell them. The place isn't big anyway. Should be evident...just shout out "WTF IS OLYCLIMBER".

Tonight! In a couple hours. Come on out. But if you can't, there will be another one. Looking forward to seeing you all.

you can see what email you use for this site by clicking on your account on the top right and selecting "Account Settings". From there you can see what email you will use to logon, and even update that if you have a new email address you want to use.

In the near future I'm going to be changing a setting so that when you logon to CC.com, you do so using your email address instead of your account. This is because using the screen name to logon is less secure, since that is posted in anything you do here. Email is hidden. I'm not sure when I'm going to do that, but you can start using your email to logon today (its already configured to allow that). Likely will change in the coming weeks.

Pubclub is back! This Wednesday at The Beer Junction at 7pm. Other than the usual informal get together it has always been, I'd love to be able to capture from anyone who comes 1. Ideas about how we can keep this site going. 2. Related to 1. ideas for growing the site to give it more vitality. 3. Improvements we can do to the site to make it better.

I'm thinking of having this function, as an option (not required of course) on a TR: the option to upload a GPX or similiar GPS file, and have it display on a map at the bottom of the TR (as well has share the GPX file so others can download it). I know not everyone captures this type of info (or even has a GPS at all), but this would be a kind of cool option for those that wanted to do it, and seems like it could be easy to implement...

Thats a sweet bike! I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to be doing next year for rides (other than the cyclocross season that I will definitely be in on)...but also will need not cut too hard into my climbing/scrambling plans for the summer where I can bring my dog. But that ride looks cool...or maybe one of the other ones that org does. I think I'm gonna do this one...just trying to talk myself into the XL. https://thegrit.bike/

So I'll be working on stuff. TR search is broken, and I think it was Jon the made that but he can't remember doing it right now. So I'm working on figuring that out....but overall PROGRESS!
