I don't have much to say because i'm just disillusioned with the state of US Politics in general. Not just Obama and how much he has disappointed on some key issues, but even more so the partisanship in Congress....the shut down just the latest shitshow. And I don't have much hope for things getting any better the next election, or the one after that. Which direction? Humor? Laughter is the best medicine, and we definitely need a lot of medicine. I voted for Obama, and he had done plenty to disappoint...I can't defend some of the things he has done. Yes he has done some good things too. The problem is this for anyone: who is going to replace him? The truth is that people don't get elected president by telling the truth. We don't want the truth, because the truth often sucks. Not that lying is justified, but if you run a campaign based on truth, and your opponent rides a shit-tsunami of lies and pukes rainbows, you will lose. Who was the last really "honest" president?

I couldn't help but get nauseous reading your post. This kind of chest beating is what makes climbing not fun. Ya, I've done some myself, some justifiably and some not. Recently I climbed snow creek wall, in fact in september, and took like 10 hours because I am out of shape a bit and had to do all the leading. But I've climbed it like 6 times so who cares how fast I do it? It's about the experience. When I read your guys' obituary I am not going to be surprised.
