I also just got done transfering about 10Gb of mainly chill shite from Europe, that is absolutely killa shite. Ez3kiel High Tone Gotan Project David Last Crooklyn Dub International Bourbonese Qualk DJ Olive DJ Wally (on Smoker's Delight) Just a few of what I got all pretty great stuff. Also what everyone mentioned to Aphex Twins cool stuff can be a little dark, but I like that, FSOL on the more trippy eltro psyche, DJ Shadow's Endtroducing is another classic, I am also into DJ Krush like shadow though with hip-hop and japenese influence, Eno is brillant, but it is so damn hard to choose which discs to buy, Bill Laswell has produced and played in a ton of bands, his dub works are great also SXL a project that he was involved in, Oh I just a good one on the Global Underground label Afterhours, chill and little dark, 3 disc 2 music 1 DVD. There is a ton of stuff out there beside Smoker's and Zero7.

Definitely! Seeing those picture of Index with Sir Fox has been making me jones for some crack climbing. I went out this weekend and found a vertical to fist crack that I struggled up realizing that my crack skills are sucking right now. It didn't help that the crack was full of dirt and razor sharp crystals. A far cry from being Index goodness.

Alpine training will have to begin though once she walks, so that she can bring the old man up gnarly alpine routes in the future. That brings me to a question, you know where I can find info on being up high with infants? We are thinking about heading into the Rwenzoris at some point while we are here, maybe her second year. It is a 7 day trek to base camp which is at 14,500. Then we can take turns sitting while the other climbs the third highest on the continent.

T=20 days and counting for plane arrival. T=31 days and counting for little one arrival. T=? when I can get her climbing.

I am not taking anything. I figure if I need to I have a laboratory at my disposal to see if I have malaria. Also there is a ton of clinics that can diagnose malaria, some of them it might be the only thing they can do halfway decently.
