I didn't see the previews, and was wondering if it was going to be George Clooney as an angst-ridden, first-ascentionist Alpinist-type (you know, change the name to protect the innocent, and all that) Great movie, and Tilda was awesome as the immoral corporate type, even down to the pasty, nervous over-worked look.

There was something oddly familiar about this movie, can't quite put my finger on it....

Verm hasn't climbed there for years, he's got better things to do. I agree. Access sucks, compared to "back in the day", but there are still a number of self-guided tours if ya get there early. North Mountain is still pretty much open. I went along with a guided tour a few years back, and didn't have much fun. I miss those old days. Coupla posers:

Umm, because 11Worth is a lot further away than Enchanted Tower in New Mexico, which is where I went instead. I sure miss that event, though. I always had a great time, especially the year I got to hang out and drink beer with Dick Cilley. Hope you all had a great time! Erik

Federal Judges are appointed, not voted into their positions. I just read the link that Nolse posted where you guys got paid for a picture and you said it wouldn't cover the fine you got then too. Not that I am any advocate for paying to access public lands but, c'mon--don't you guys learn anything? Sounds like the judge increased the fine because the statutory penalty clearly wasn't much of a deterrant for you. Now THAT was an intelligent post. Thanks, Rob.
