Works great to clean rock shoe rubber, but thats all I would do with it.

Well. I tried. Just an attempt to balance the at anothers expense. Granted she might be oblivious and probably on welfare (you know how fat people are). So I will just ride this one out and chalk it up to the drunks across the street that kept annoying me during my CoH session.

I dont see you taking in ALL the possibilites mr/ms Fairweather. Have you spoken to our new friends doctor? Do you know her history? Obviously you would have added several more suggestions to your post if you had.

Hmmmm.... Seek counseling? Exercise more? Consume only the calories daily that your body needs to maintain the proper weight? Take a little responsibility for yourself? Mebbe try some compassion bro, some folks due to genetics, rare illness or thyroid issues cannot and are doomed to suffer. Granted the bulk of the US is obese due to ignorance, laziness, lack of will/spine, education, etc etc but there are some folks the cannot and will never apply too. I am assuming your condescending comments are not directed at them

I must admit after seeing Napoleon Dynamite, I have turned over a new leaf and am becoming very aware of others feelings. I'm quite sure that is NOT photoshop. Semi touche! But not really I merely pointed out the computer geek site and its similarities to our very own CC.com. Come poking around my web site. 90% of the content is computer gaming/MMORPG. I resemble that site!

I created a female character just to see what would happen. I found I typically got alot of free armor, weapons and junk...but also got some AMAZING guys that would NOT leave me alone. Even after I told em I was a guy they kept "chatting at me seemingly disbelieving.

She is probably a nice lady, just has some issues genetically or with her thyroid. AT least shes out enjoying what she can considering her condition. It might behoove us to not mock such folks as that tends to undermine the credibility of the posters as well as the site. Granted this is the "internet" and "spray" but I think common respect knows no bounds, kinda like posting photo of a cancer patient or amputee up there and poking fun at their issues.

So there I was, playing my late night MMORPG ( Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) City of Heroes when I see a fellow named Cascadia. I naturally clicked on him and checked his bio which linked me to the following site. Interesting and odd...perhaps if this has not been posted before it might be mildly amusing. Discuss...or not Cascadia If I see him tonight I will track him down and get a screencap. I did not do the requisite CC.com "presearch" so if this was a past thread please refrain from flaming me and simply move on.

Looks like the workout equipment is on its way! Andy is playing Tinker toys and getting it all together. Regarding the music, they do pretty good, 'cept they need to play more of all that electronica and psy trance I gave them

Yup, there were a quite a few more, but they came and left in a vacuum. I lived and worked in the Kolob district and at the time, the focus was on the main Zion Canyon. I wish the rusty booty I found could talk as I know there were some sweet "pre-mainstream" stories and adventures it would tell me. The 2" angle lying on its side in the dirt of a pod 80' up last rites. The mangled wood handled Chouinard hammer in a flashflood tangle of roots at the base of Paria Point. The Chalky rotted slings and the biner marked "Trout" at the nose of Beatty point. (No doubt from Ken Trout.) The cairn built in a cave on the Top of Rooster Tower. Some of the coolest of times were had when the desert was new and unexplored. I had a chance to meet and chat will Bill Forrest and Bill March when they visited Kolob. I had no clue who they were and I started to explain to them about climbing on Navajo SS...after a few comments I got a hunch and shut up and listened There is much talk about the golden years of yos climbing, but I believe an AWESOME tome could be written on the golden years in the Southwest. The original Bjornstad guide Desert Rock had some GREAT tales and accounts. I was dissapointed to see in subsequent versions that was dropped for more "pertinent beta". Thanks for the thread alert gosolo! It touches on some cool stuff.

As far as I am concerned...before Middendorf, there was only : Lowe, Olevsky, Forrest/March, and a few (free climbing focussed) others ( Becky/Rowell/Bjornstad on GWT notwithstanding). Anyone after that is a "newcomer" ( I came in for a short period in the mid 80's ). Dangle aka R.O. has some good stories, hes a local with some color and a not so pristine record. Definitely a good read, check out my post of Ron's Space Shot story. I have his original "constructive scarring essay" if anyone wants me to post it.

Decent gym, good bouldering, good routes. Still pretty low key but if your a local then it beats the heck out of commuting or Spire...or Fossil if you're on a time crunch

I am looking for simple beta on any of these places, but specifically Katy Bell. These are Quartz crystal localities in the greater Snoqualmie area and I am curious if anyone has been to any of them or knows of any link to specific sites with details. I was a rabid mineral collector as a kid and was rummaging thru some old guides from the mid 70's and was curious to scope some of these sites (which may no longer exist or be open). Back in the pre climbing day we would scramble up Denny Mtn for Quartz, Garnet, Epidote and a host of other minerals in the Skarn zone (Granite/Limestone contact) up "Rockhound Gulch" on the west face. A pretty deadly endeavor esp without wisdom and skills

Durrance is the trade route and as such, typically reeks of urine. If you are willing to put up with climbs such as Durrance then you might be better off doing Tad, same kind of climbing with less urine. Carols Crack Walt Bailey Memorial Belle Fouche Buttress Mr.Clean Soler McCarthy North Face West Face direct Hollywood and Vine Skinny Puppy (insert chestbeat emote) Broken Tree El Matador Freaking awesome place to climb...load up heavy on stoppers and Rps and a small cam rack and you'll be all set. And while your there, drive to the NW corner of the monument where the dirt road leaves the park. Step outside the boundary and in the soil you can find fossil squid shells Orthoceras. Dont forget the bouldering! ( Andy Petefish on the Extingusher. North Tower loop)
