    Good Sound Rocks

This whole thread reminds me of a Trask based thread from long ago.
  2. Shop told me that if new they are worth $40 +-, but if they were original equipment on a vehicle like mine (1991), they are probably worthless. Worth the risk if you are desperate enough I guess.
  3. Hmm, ill look into it, thanks!...but alot of $$ going out this year for vehicle maint and vehicle...so its gonna have to hold a little longer I picked em up with a bag and placed em in a ziplock. Left a message at the local substation...waiting on a return call...
  4. Scoundrels pinched my Catalytic Converter while I slept! A fek bigger problem than I realized. Had a new one welded on today. Someday I would love to catch these punks in action. 91 Toyota Pickup parked in the front yard. They even left some tools...probably stolen too. I live on the East side of Tacoma, McKinley Hill, in case anyone lives near there...beware I googled it and got pages and pages. Googled info
  5. The gun club is fine with me, alot of fine memories. It effects the climbing by zero.
  6. When doing this route attempt with these guys (Art Wiggins/Harvey Miller), Art showed me the top flap of his pack which was jammed full of cig butts, his thoughts on littering were simple, he said "Karma man, Karma"
  7. Drytooling the clay cliffs at Point Defiance...HELLO!!! people, this resource is right under your noses!!!
  8. PS; Yes I do know your MoM went to college.
  9. Is that legal or of any concern of mine. I feel I have wasted 230 seconds of my life clicking on your link. If you feel I have clicked on your link in error please PM me for my Paypal information. I feel you own me 347.00 sudanese for my wasted time on your link. Thankyouverymuch Chirp
  10. I bet!
  11. Ok, its a bit random I guess, so more details: - It is a boulder Problem In-obvious and random but semi relevant clues below : - Well known maker of a cheese products. - Rat, pig, Zebra I will give it a few days, hopefully someone can identify the boulder. It is very well known regionally and semi nationally. If no one gets it I will post a pic of the route on Wed or so.
  12. NP, I get very feisty when it comes to specific holds. This one used to nail your index finger with a harsh nub, but now that its "comfortised", its a bit easier... If this is too hard, in a few days I will add another hold photo to the mix... ...we shall see...
  13. DUDE! Stay on topic please.
  14. With all these fun and silly "name that crack/route/flavouring", I am re adding the hold I tacked on to the dying "name that route" thread. This is a classic hold, softened by some evildoer with a chisel but still an integral part of this classic problem. Not in the NW btw

  16. Hmmm, perhaps "Ghey" is assuming everyone has facebook. :[]
  17. DUDE I so have you beat by umm 5 months. WOOT, grats tho!! Welcome to the beginning of the best years!!
  18. 56. You actually post a "valid" response to this inane thread? WTF?

  20. Speaking of which...whay has Toyota chosen to go with Frank Z's famous facial hair?
  21. Bottom right edge of Rattlesnake ledge ( east base of main face) has a cool ass flared chimney feature, can TR or boulder it. Prolly 20 feet or so in marginal rock, but nice looking and definitely a skill builder, I'd say mid ten. I did it years ago when me and some friends were stoked on the area. I named it "Binkleys closet of Anxieties 5.10+"
  22. NIce! fun UG. grats! Ding!
  23. Just found a few more items, any ideas? The book looks a bit deep for me tho.
  24. Just aquired a bunch of my dads tools and such (incl a mini lathe) and I'm like WTF? Still sorting thru it, lots of fun and curious items from the mind and life of an old Boeing man.
  25. I got stoked in Zion by my trail crew leader John Gangemi's tales...went home, bought a bunch of books and self learned knots and belay basics. Bought a small rack of stoppers and hexes from Basecamp supply and a rope and a harness from some dude at my High School...I recruited a stoner friend to drive up to Index and I led GNS onsight with pro every foot or so. What a rush. my only previous experience was learning the basics at spire rock from the locals, including some strange old guy soloing around in tennis shoes and black socks..
