While up in Lillooet, I saw on the tube there was another big flap because they were sending troops over to take part in peace keeping missions, but all they had for uniforms were ones with the jungle motif and the desert ones wouldn't be in for a few months. I guess desert patterns are part of the summer lineup.

Thread creep is present in every thread - even simple trip reports, and nobody really complains about it. The A at V thread was a feel-good thread where everyone could get behind the message. When the sway of the spray went another way, apparently we were all supposed to ignore it in deference to people close to the story.
