  1. Of course I don't, but this is SPRAY, the land of wild speculation. Hey, this is really big. For the Spaniards, this is like 9-11.
  2. That's life on the Animal Farm.
  3. But you really have no fucking idea, so who cares who you randomly think it is. You post is about as useful as a fox news online pole. Why do I think it was Al Qaida? The scale is an order of magnitude larger than anything ETA has ever pulled off. Second ETA claims they always announce an attack before it happens. Also Al Qaida has the motive to do it.
  4. Well, sort of, if you call King Pins close.
  5. I saw some of Bush's new TV ads last night. In one of them he keeps saying, "I KNOW what to do" to bring jobs to this country, to keep us safe, to jump start the economy, blah, blah, blah. I couldn't help thinking, "If you've KNOWN what do to for the last four years, why in the HELL, haven't you done it!"
  6. A new drug being developed by Sanofi-Synthelabo called rimonabant works by blocking the same receptors in the brain that are activated by cannabinoids when you smoking pot. It was shown to be effective in smoking cessation and in weight loss, especially in the waist, or so-called "visceral fat". This is going to be a gold mine for Sanofi. Now is the time to buy some stock in the company. This is going to be the greatest thing since sliced bread.
  7. I say it was the work of Al Queda.
  8. "Colder than a brass toilet seat on the shady side of an iceberg."
  9. My Dad remembers the 1938 hurricane on Long Island. It destroyed his grandma's barn.
  10. It appears that the faller didn't want to trouble himself to walk far from his truck, so using four wheel drive, he got just as close to his target as he could get before he parked. Good thinking!
  11. That's why the version with a larger number of questions is more definitive.
  12. Let's go retro, baby!
  13. It means, roughly, "let's go!" or "Send, Dude!"
  14. Why do you want to test falls on pro? If your placements are bad you might deck. Get a more experienced partner to critique your placements. If you climb hard, eventually you are going to fall off anyway. I'd prefer not to fall deliberately.
  15. No one is surprised in the least, Greg.
  16. "It's the greatest thing since sliced bread." "We went the whole nine yards."
  17. I don't think Sno Parks are included. It would be great if they were.
  18. It's a PROJECT for chrissakes! Who cares how it's classified. The guy placed all that gear on lead. He probably fell off at least once for every placement. The guy has probably been working that pitch forever. For him it is a huge puzzle, working out the moves one by one. It shows a shitload of dedication and patience. Few have that kind of skill and even fewer have the patience.
  19. ENTP
  20. “Soon they'll be breeding us like cattle! You've got to warn EVERYone and tell them! Soylent PICKTON is MADE of people! PEEE-O-PLE! You've got to tell them! Soylent Pickton is PEOPLE!”
  21. He reads the site every day and he is almost always on chat. Why do you say it's sad?
  22. The rock was constructed to teach beginners. Most of the problems are pretty easy. However there is at least one hard problem on the west face of the tower that is pretty hard, like 5.11 or so. But no, it doesn't compare to UW Rock. It would be cool if they would add a modern rock at Camp Long.
  23. I don't mind chatting with Dwayner, but it gets old every time trying to figure out who is who. Its the same old game and it is boring. You use up about 30 min every time figuring out who's who. I want to just know who's there and be able to chat accordingly.
  24. I drive that stretch every weekday and I'm constantly scanning for cops. I see, on average, 1 cop every 2 weeks or so. I wouldn't say that is too heavily patrolled. How about Saturday morning? I give you 1:1 odds you'll find the State Patrol on the median at that time, waiting for the weekenders heading for BC.
