But the Ministry of Justice said it was now releasing the details "in the interests of maintaining public confidence" in Lord Hutton's conclusions. They were "entirely consistent with having been inflicted with a bladed weapon" while "their orientation and arrangement...are typical of self-inflicted injury", he concluded. Among the factors he believes indicated suicide, Dr Hunt said the removal of Dr Kelly's watch and spectacles are "features pointing towards this being an act of self-harm," as is the "relatively passive distribution of blood and....the lack of obvious signs of trampling of the undergrowth or damage to clothing". Furthermore, there was also a "total lack of classical defence wounds against a sharp weapon attack". The toxicology report by forensic scientist Alexander Allan showed a high concentration of paracetamol and dextropropoxyphene in Dr Kelly's blood. The two make up co-proxamol - a prescription-only drug for pain treatment. 'Considerable' overdose Campaigners have questioned whether the painkillers in Dr Kelly's system were enough to cause death - and Dr Hunt says in his report that "the levels of paracetamol and dextropropoxyphene in the blood are not particularly high and may not ordinarily have caused death in their own right". But he adds that dextropropoxyphene can cause fatal heart rhythm abnormalities in people with low blood pressure as a result of bleeding. The toxicology report concluded Dr Kelly took a "considerable" overdose of the drug but he had died before all the paracetamol had been absorbed into his system. Thee was "nothing new" in the post-mortem report, Dr Powers said, and issues such as the amount of blood at the scene and uncertainty over the number of pills Dr Kelly had taken had not been resolved. "If he were only to have taken six to eight tablets, what does that say about his intent to take his own life?" he said. "I don't believe any of the evidence we have seen or heard to date can answer those questions." However Prof Bion said he found the report "convincing." In a statement, Lord Hutton said there had never been any secrecy about the post-mortem report as lawyers had had access to it during his inquiry. In his initial answer, Williams said exactly what the video excerpt shows: that he worries when he sees passengers in Muslim garb, and that the Times Square bomber declared a U.S. war with Muslims. Williams is right about the bomber. When Faisal Shahzad pled guilty in the Times Square plot, he told the court: "Brace yourselves, because the war with Muslims has just begun. Consider me only a first droplet of the flood that will follow me." That isn't a legitimate basis for judging all Muslims. But it is, as Williams said, a fact. And Williams' confession that he fears religious Muslims isn't necessarily an endorsement of bigotry. That continuation has been conveniently snipped from the excerpt. A few seconds later, Williams challenges O'Reilly's suggestion that "the Muslims attacked us on 9/11." Williams points out how wrong it would be to generalize similarly about Christians: Hold on, because if you said Timothy McVeigh, the Atlanta bomber, these people who are protesting against homosexuality at military funerals—very obnoxious—you don't say first and foremost, "We got a problem with Christians." That's crazy. Williams reminds O'Reilly that "there are good Muslims." A short while later, O'Reilly asks: "Juan, who is posing a problem in Germany? Is it the Muslims who have come there, or the Germans?" Williams refuses to play the group blame game. "See, you did it again," he tells O'Reilly. "It's extremists." Williams warns O'Reilly that televised statements about Muslims as a group can foment bigotry and violence. "The other day in New York, some guy cuts a Muslim cabby's neck," Williams reminds him. Dave Cox, undersheriff of Skamania County, said Souv, who is originally from Cambodia, is physically disabled hearing impaired. He said she got lost in thick brush and decided to stay put. The Forest justified the fee as necessary to operate and maintain the campground to standard and provide increased security. Now they are including Skull Hollow in a prospectus for sites to be turned over to a private for-profit concessionaire to operate. Concessionaires will be invited to bid on what they will charge the public, and you can pretty much bet it will be a lot more than $5. The funds will flow to the private firm, with only a small percentage being paid to the Forest as a franchise fee. Often concessionaires offset franchise fees by performing in-kind work, in which case little or no cash flows to the Forest. The process of turning a facility over to concessionaire management is done internally and administratively, with no public notice. No public comment is solicited either on whether to do it or on how much the concessionaire's fees should be. Future increases in fees are approved administratively, with no public notice, comment, or input, and no advisory committee approval required. I thought you would like to be made aware of this impending change. Skull Hollow Campground is, for all practical purposes, about to pass out of federal hands, probably forever.
