heh heh, true dat. .... BTW, I second that round of head from Cindy comment above. (not too old...see?) Unless it's Arc, than lets turn it over to Pink for an Olympic Torch demo -that would be worth pulling up a lawn chair and having a beer to watch go down.

Nice Call. Ditto here.

link For the upwardly mobile yupster who wants to burn some mountain laps on the weekend, but it could be awhile: "YAKIMA, Wash. - Construction will start this summer on a planned $500 million, Tuscan-themed golf resort with views of Mount Rainier and Mount Adams in the Yakima Valley wine country, developers said. ADVERTISEMENT The Vineyards, about seven miles northwest of Zillah and less than 20 miles from Yakima, will target Seattle residents looking for a second home on a championship-quality golf course in Washington's sunny wine country, Rich Barnes, a principal with Colorado-based Eagle Resort Development, told the Yakima Herald-Republic. Depending on views of the 18-hole course and Cascade Range volcanos, lots will sell for $250,000 to $1 million, the developers said. A total of 582 housing units, including 230 private homes, a 100-room condominium hotel, and a combination of patio homes, town homes and villas are planned on 500 acres atop Rattlesnake Ridge. The Vineyards would not be as large as Suncadia, which opened in Kittitas County in 2004. Suncadia covers about 6,000 acres, and is expected to eventually include more than 3,000 homes, golf courses, condos and hotel rooms. Construction of The Vineyards will occur in phases, starting in June with the first nine holes of the 7,561-yard golf course, with play beginning in 2009, Barnes said. The first home sites will be available in August 2008, he said. Plans call for the project to be completed by 2015."

billcoe replied to olyclimber's topic in Climber's Board
Yes, and I understand that grade V is like Grade III-IV and grade IV is like Grade III or sumptin depending on which Canadian is grading it in Idaho. Man, I gotta get me some rich friends so I can read this mag on a regular basis. -
WTF, you kidding. We got trolled? Shit. I like Ivan, like he knew but forgot to tell us all! My brothers use to do that. Brother kent: "Oh, I've known all about those hornets for weeks. How many stings did ya get?" I thought this was the internet and we are all 100 percent honest. Sad. I'm going back to whale tail and muffin tops. Maybe Kevs got more pics of Pam.

Yup, unfortunatly the porn mag flurries has decreased dramatically ever since that dude pitched off and died with his pants around his ankles while pleasuring himself a few years back by Ranger Rock (under Phylynx). Now, per JH, evidently people are pitching off metal objects, definately a downturn. MORE PORN, Less metal. Whats your story Michelle and are you really a park ranger in Alaska?
-
I read that one, amazing.

How the heck would I know, ask anyone who knows me and they'll tell you I'm not open minded. Don't claim to be. I was guessing you were Fairweather, guess I missed that boat. Well now that we've ascertained I'm an asshole, did you see that the " newbie-girl " claims to be a Park Ranger living in Alaska in her profile? I just believed that it was some "govenment authority" or "contractor for such" inititating a study asking us to justify shutting the place down. I've been waiting for it to come and happen and it was looking like a self-fullfilling prophecy that I didn't want to play into. See, I never claimed to be perfect and theres 2 things right off the bat I've f*ed up. If indeed you really are "the real" fairweather. Cause the real fairweather said something like "3 strikes and I'm out of here" as if he would not come and post here ever again. But here you are anyway. See you next time then. Feel free to stick around, nobody is kicking your ass out of here. More shocking news gleaned from your post: Foraker has a Phd? Damn.

Uhhh, maybe. Once I'd gone down to JT with John and Bill Petrosky, maybe @ 1980 or so. Great guys. I jump on some "interesting" climb, maybe 5.8 or 9 if I remember. Up high it turned into a flared chimney. It truly was unlike anything I'd ever done or seen before. I was greasing bad, and panting, and sweating. My feet were clawing and I'm trying an arm bar which keeps spitting me out toward the outside of the flare and the whole time I'm about to fall out of this damn thing and that would have been ugly as I didn't really have a piece I wanted to fall on near me and the wedge effect on the body would have been bad. About 3/4 of the way up this horror show, I am able to wedge my head - nose on the rock (sans helmet duh) back into the chimney and rest 100 % on my head which was cranked into the only nice constriction available. Took a long breather - got a piece in (or 2 or 3) -finally, and then finished the struggle to a triumphant top out and a yell of joy! Nothing down there is really that long, but I remember belaying them up from on top, so it must have been a full pitch. John struggles up, clips off, has blood on his hands and is staring at me as I prepare to belay bill up. "What ya lookin at John?" "Uhhh, the front of your face has quite a bit of blood on it Bill". Fairly so too as it turned out, I'd cranked my head in there hard and did a full on jam directly on some nasty rugosites from hell. I almost needed a mallet to pound my head out it was that good, like an overcammed cam or a over wedged nut. But the rest I got was critical to topping out. Had some bloody scrape marks which I totally did not feel while I was doing it.

Fiarweather (sstout): you can come out of the closet and none of US will condem you unlike your christian buddies. We all know that the "with Love" title won't get you into heaven so pay attention. As far as your blanket claim that gays are "unstable", well, thats what your post makes you look like to most of the rest of us.

BTW - I helped pick up up a litter on the Mountain today regarding ANOTHER ski accident in the ski area. Interested in that one? Ujohn helped get a girl on a litter just Wednesday not further than 1/2 a mile from there (that one was saucy and interesting !) How about that one?

Sure you are and I've been flying in a flying saucer to other planets checking out real estate with aliens this weekend. Not me. You're probably not even a chic. For a popular urban park with remarkable qualities, RB has had an amazingly few accidents over the last 30+ years I'm aware of. Enough not to write about them IMO. Rapes and attacks on women jogging in Forest Park is very common, and there are plenty of stats for you to flesh out your paper as well. Good luck.

Cindy, here's to wishing you the best. Life is short, grab all the happiness you can while you can.

If Patagonia is suggesting that we cannot copy and paste to share within the community in a non commercial manner, I would propose that ALL OF US, EVERY DAMN STINKING ONE OF US, NEVER UTTER THE WORD PATAGONIA EVER AGAIN. Even to refer to a glorious climbing area.
