If someone is retrobolting climbs where crack pro has been used, the solution to that is simple, pull the mank out. Dawg and I agree. However, if a FA party puts the bolt in, especially if the route has never been done by the hardment of yesterday, or anyone, then you have to suspect a legitament bolt which is there to keep your ass alive - ie, the crack is a loose block or flake on 1 side or pro won't work for some reason. -example- There was a pic of Croft in a climbing mag not long ago. It appeared he was clipped to a bolt right by a crack. In the ensuing furor he explained that it was an illusion and no pro would have fit in there. Croft is about as pure and as hardman as it gets and would not have lied. The bolt was necessary.

Well, I vividly remember 2 field trips to the Camas pulp and paper mill. The whiring and deafenig noise was very impressive. As was the smell. I still like the way that plant smells, despite most others finding it intolerable.

I don't know why Tom Potter feels this is acceptable practice. Fake green cards were issued as well. All but 30 of the 165 people taken into custody will be transported to a federal facility in Tacoma, Wash. Those 30 were released for health reasons or to care for dependents, but they too face a federal immigration judge. Portland Mayor Tom Potter says he's unhappy with how the raids were carried out. He released this statement: "I am angered by this morning's arrest by federal officers of approximately 150 Portland residents who were working at a local produce company. Almost forgot: Rocky Butte notes: As Geoff will tell you, there is a ground wasp nest located at Video Bluff on the left side. If you were to step left of Live Wire or right of AC/DC and try to stick you dick in the dirt, (don't do it -you heard it here first) ....right about there. They are smaller and less aggressive than regular Hornets/yellowjackets and look identical to the species who set up shop at the base of Vertical Therapy last year (Doug Hutchinson and a few others can tell you about those). Although there is not much nest activity, and they appear to be the type who will not bother you if you do not bother them, one of them did cross that line of co-existance and took exception to Geoffs tit. ___________________________________________________________ Next - to whomever is doing all the gardening up there, I did some of that last year and got yelled at by some jackass I'd never met previously who claimed to have climbed there for 26 years....anyway......
