Not really a 'rock' song, but I always liked Allmans' "Pony Boy." Slide guitar on Dire Straits' "Brothers In Arms" Duane Allman, David Lindley, Ry Cooder are all slide masters. I kinda like the sound of the dobro better than a slide electric, though.
