naw i just got the pics back and dmn it was fun...we got our fair share of vertical ice in the ice field we had to cross up on the glacier but then descended down to a 2+ pitch waterfall...i went up about 12 feet and decided that i was a dumbass for even being on that thing as a nice sheet came down and knocked my boot out and i barndoored...good times though...perhaps after this warm/wet spell i will head back up there and check things out...that WI2 sounds killer...we'll have to hook it up sometime...

there are a couple of placs by the river...you can follow your nose to teh creosote campsite...or accross the street, there is a nice lil diddy right close to the water... there are plenty of options are they are all pretty easy to find...wish this weekend was supposed to be nicer...damnit!

there were a few waterfalls forming up at heliotrope ridge, but they were so disconnected to teh rock, you couldn't even hook without a chunk comming off...but who knows what the next few weeks may bring?...

yeh yeh yeh...my buddy from colorado said it was like a mini ouray up there...except at closer inpsection the ice was notattached to the rock..oh well...it was still beautiful adn got me in 'ice' mood... cant wait to get my shoulders and claves back into shape!!!

we had to get back for school...we had a mid-term make-up in our anthropology course...would have stayed as it was beautiful, but oh well...yeah i saw cavey and highlander on their way up to camp...we never went over to the serac field and instead found our own lil paradise after turning around on the climbing route... perhaps next time...eh?
