Much agreed AA I do not think assimilatin is good. I greatly respect and have studied a little of native american history and culture, and find the conection with nature inspiring beyond mesure. respect is a good thing, but I still want to climb

most I could come up with so far is that there were cave dwellers in the grand gulch region of southeastern Utah. still woild be interested in learning about their beliefs about climbing rocks

AA, as much as I do care to have respect for others and their beliefs... first it will be cave rock and devils tower... then what??? leavenwirth? smith rock? before you know it there will be NO ROCK CLIMBING because others find it offensive. just out of curiosity does any body know any thing about the clif dwellers??/ i believe they lived in the south west some where... I would be interested in there beliefs on climbing rocks

I used to realy love the seira club because I saw them as the more moderate option... but if they are going to start saying that rock climbing is bad for the environment... then I will have to stop supporting them

there is ablurb about it in the latest seira club mag... you should read it if you can... maybe I just misunderstood

from what I read in a seira club mag there seems to be some litigation... they are trying to extend that to a ban of all climbing all the time or some one wants to bolt it or something... some one help... I suck with details

we have a mac desk top and i have a pc lap top that I like very much with all the microsft softwear there is not that hudge of a diffrence for me as I am not recording music or doing graphics... so go with what you can afford, something that comes with programs that you will use. Look for a deal! my lap top is some strange off brand ( it was given to me and I don't know or I would tell you ) and it is just Fine
