  1. The TR loads fully with Google Chrome as a browser also. Firefox repeatedly balks at large image laden TRs here for some reason.
  2. I'm working on a little history project and would like to get in contact with Ted Otto and Jim Lillibridge. If anyone has any contact info please send it to me via PM thanks Off
  3. You've set a pretty high bar for first posts, thanks for contributing.
  4. Now I understand your love of deep space imagery Fairweather. You're really out there.
  5. Hey! I love the M's too! [video:youtube] Are we bonding or what?
  6. As I'm sure you've figured out, Beaconblabber goes in the new Columbia Gorge forum. This is for the pork product, more popular than pirates.
  7. Oh, nice pics Porter, much better all around than road repair pissing matches.
  8. Thing is, that road up the Dosewallips was there for years, didn't seem to have an adverse affect on the wilderness. Why is repairing (replacing if you'd rather) it going to suddenly cause the decline of the ONP? Fact is, not that many people venture farther than a few miles from the trailhead, that's part of the joy of the range, and having that road back in service isn't going to make the backcountry any less lonely such as you'd notice. Oh, you might have some more people as far as Dose Forks, some of them might even be fat and drive a Winnebago, I suppose it's best we keep those people in their place. Maybe the next time they have a rock slide over Highway 20 past Newhalem they should just retire the road, let the Liberty Bell chutes reclaim the asphalt. That's a great idea, isn't it?
  9. The Wrens are more sway and mope than dance party, but it's damned fine gray day music. [video:youtube] [video:youtube]
  10. Bacon wrapped Turducken from Bacontoday.com! link
  11. Nice TR, great looking trip. Thanks!
  12. I thought that was spraying it on a rock formation? I'm assuming you're talking about Mr. Thesenga?
  13. Nice nod to Vertical Limit in that trailer.
  14. For the record, this forum is for all the crags in the Columbia River Gorge, and the purpose of the forum is to help differentiate them from the Mt Hood reports and queries that inundate the Oregon forum. It also makes moot the point that crags like Ozone and Beacon are in fact in Washington. We could have made a separate Mt Hood forum instead, but this is the way we went. It's not just in response to a buncha recent Beacon noise, the request for some way to keep the cragging stuff from getting buried in Hood trip reports was made quite some time ago.
  15. Charcoal lighter fluid, its kind of rough going down but the flatulence is spectacular.

  21. This is for you, Pink [video:youtube]
  22. No, this is just like any other TR forum. Anything goes is in Spray, or Bacon if you'd prefer.
  23. Observation will reveal that there's now a Columbia Gorge forum. That'll help make it irrelevant that ya'll keep posting about a Washington crag in the Oregon forum.
