I've got the Falcon guide, but it doesn't go into great detail about those areas, more like a sample of each. I'll take a look at Sharpend and see what they have.

I'll be heading down to St. George to visit family over Thanksgiving and am planning on doing a little climbing while I'm there. Since I won't have a ton of free time, I'm limiting my climbing to areas like Snow Canyon and Chukawala wall. Where I need some help is that the guide book I recently picked up talks about areas like Turtle wall and Crawdad Canyon, but doesn't offer up any decent route info, on top of that I read a post on another site that said they thought Crawdad Canyon might be closed to climbing this time of year. Does anyone have any info or a recommendation on a better guide book I could pick up.

Wow, who would have thought that the Grasslands would be so absolutely packed this time of year. That place was a complete zoo this weekend! Had a great time climbing and drinking with everybody, got to catch up with a few folks I haven’t seen in a while: mtnhigh, winter, etc. Even had the pleasure of climbing with the beer god himself. By the way Steve, thanks for the beer and epic belay Saturday afternoon.

The Love-fest is a weekend full of drinking, debauchery and occasional climbing. Hard telling what the weather will be, maybe sunny during the day, maybe ccold during the night, I think it rained for a bit one night, but the beer and bonfire didn't deter the fun. As to the climbing, there are plenty fo routes at smiffy for all ranges uber easy to uber tough, it'll just depend on what you're looking for.

Man, that was a good LoveFest! That blue chair is mine. I left it there 3? years ago. Please return it to me. oh, and i think i left a sweet counting crows album in someones cd player. Rrrrrrrooooooouuuuuunnnnddd hhheeeerrreeee....

I think I met this guy about a month ago at a birthday party for my son, he just moved out here a few months ago from the East Coast, he's, still in high school and just wants to meet people to climb with.

I'm for planning things closer to the end of the month for what that's worth. I'll be out completely out of action for the first two weeks of Oct.

I think 4th actually, the first year there was only like 5 or 6 of us including the likes of the grand gaper himself, who opened up his house to our motley bunch. Anywho...lets plan this thing.

Not as far as the industry is concerned. The color/quality of the reflective backing material never changes only the color of the material that it is applied to. Once the two are combined the industry only identifies the color of the mirror by the color of glass to which it was applied.

Mirrors are the color of the glass that the silver backing is applied to. i.e. clear glass = clear mirror, bronze colored glass = bronze mirror

I heard that there was to be a public meeting held this Wednesday at 9101 S.E. Sunnybrook Rd. in Clackamas at 7:00pm to discuss the future of Madrone Wall, but I couldn't find any info out about it on the site, can anyone confirm?
