No, I'm like this all the time. hehehe. Honestly, the way people drive here used to infuriate me. I learned how to drive in Chicago. Now, it's just not worth expending energy on it. I can use it for other things:

he's a little slow, it's not his fault realy... is there a short bus for globel conciousness? post pre-emptively deleted by this user in an effort to avoid reacting to the previous poster's childish outburst.

Whatever, that sounds pathetic. Why would I give some dipshit who can't merge the power to affect me so profoundly? Maybe I keep it in perspective or whatever. But if you go through life allowing these little things to "run" you, that's trouble. People like you make me glad I carry a gun - you're about to go postal right now, I can tell.

That sounds pretty fucking stupid. But that's my opinion. Do you have documented studies showing these "cascading effects"? If I flip off someone of Arabic descent does that translate to a rise in terrorist acts? Or will OPEC raise their prices? Does cutting off a Chinese immigrant have a direct impact on the trade deficit with Communist China? Please, dude, I think you overestimate your own personal importance.

Quality 5.8 Crack Climbs at Frenchman Coulee
Greg_W replied to catbirdseat's topic in Central/Eastern Washington
Scotty, I think pitch 1 of Roger's is 5.8 in the book; p2 is 5.9. It's a fun outing, IMO. I can't speak to Vantage, never climb there. Smoke Bluffs has tons of great shit. -

Classic Crack Twin Crack Dogleg Crack (all in L-worth) Pitch 1 & 2 of Lizard (Index) - not sure if both are .8 Oh, yeah...why 5.8? Roger's Corner & Princely Ambition are nice at Index; they're 5.9. -
You don't know anger, you're Canadian. You want rage and anger? Give me a call.

Thanks, dude. It's my wallpaper now.

Uhh, the majority of us are in Seattle or PDX....that should tell you a little about how liberal we are as a general group. Greg is one of our special kids. We try to be nice to him even though he thinks poor people are lazy. I don't think all poor people are lazy. I think that many people who are poor, are that way due to choices that THEY have made about the direction of their lives. I don't see that I need to be punished because of my success and hard work just because someone decided to get drunk and knocked up at 16 and has no marketable skills because of it.

That's pretty idealistic. There are only so many positions that can be filled with trained professionals. Don't we need ditch diggers too? If a ditch digger wants to become a programmer would you feel good about your taxes being used to send them to school while you get buried beneath student loans or your family depletes their personal riches to support you? Personally I would rather pay for my own way and have my parents sitting on a beach somewhere than letting Uncle Sam carve another 2% of my paycheck to pay for someone else's tuition. if "ditch digging" paid a wage that you didn't have to work 4 jobs to live the migrant workers would out of work This is bullshit. Those union "ditchdiggers" are making pretty good coin.

ATC - simple, easy. I would like to get one of those ATC-type devices someone's making for thinner ropes.

Pretty spot on, if you ask me.

George must have not noticed that the meaning of marriage changed when the divorce rate hit 50%. Yeah, now it means, "I want to share my life with you and give you half of all my stuff in 5-10 years."

My guess is that they'll do a reassessment of the road repairs necessary once it all clears out. I don't think they tried to do any road repair before the snows, but I could very well be wrong.

In my view, it's a state's rights issue, just like abortion. Keep the fucking Federal Government out of it; they're too involved as it is.

I recently got a roll of film developed and found these pics from a trip up to Eldo in November (I think). Enjoy. Greg_W Eldo from our camp: The Inspiration Glacier:

Right on, man. We had the same thing happen to us on Saturday in Bellevue. A nice couple turned my friend's wallet in at a jewelry store and heard us talking on the phone to the restaurant we had been at. The kindness of strangers on a sunny day is way cool; makes me want to be a nicer person. You know?

Yeah, that's a bummer; they're easier to swallow whole when they're alive. It's like they swim down to your stomach.

Plan sounds good, however, let's be wary of the numbers.

False advertising; stay at Indian Creek or come up to Washington so we can climb in Squamish. why don't you just come up to squamish so we can climb in squamish? i'll be there by may ... Surely, I will, but you gotta pass through Washington to get there. And there's some decent climbing to be done here. See you in May. -

I see badvoodoo's points. I go one further and don't look to a SO to be a climbing partner. I have plenty of other partners for the objectives I want to hit. If they want to climb sometime, great, I'm all for it and I'll make the time. But, I'll keep rolling on with my list of objectives in the meantime.
