Looks like I'll be switching rags to wipe my ass with.

I was high up on the crux pitch of Outer Space last Wednasday. I had led up to where the crack goes right and you have to do THE step out. My belayer, for some reason, could not pay me out slack to clip. So I'm hanging out mid crux staring down to figure out what's wrong with his system. To my utter amazement I see that he has his shiny new reverso clipped into his belay loop by the wrong carabiner. He had it clipped like it should be to an anchor for a FOLLOWER. No Fucking wonder he can't pay out slack. Duh. I yelled, "what the fuck, don't you read instruction manuals?" I Then calmly proceeded to talk him through correct procedures. It would have held in a fall... right? The lesson learned is: don't take sport climbers on trad routes.

I think that good old fashioned snow works the best. Before there was paper, there was snow. I like the way it chills my butthole, and sends shivers of pleasure up my spine. After blowing mud I always go for the snowy wipe.

sounds good. I skinned up to the base of Shuksan the other day. conditions are sloppy wet! It was fun. I'm willing to go dependant on weather. The Easton Glacier on Baker goes fast too... Looking for turns...

YEs! Go to Vantage and do George and Martha in the wonderful sun. Squamish is wet and nasty, and there is poop in the cracks. They are unclimbable due to High fecal coliform. Stay away. There are also rednecks, bears, snakes, and ugly women. Nothing there for you... Trust me!

I skinned up Table mountain and Artist point on Wed. The snow was perfect for traveling, but as the day went on the snow got super slushy. Go early so the route is firm, Shuksan has alot of snow on it right now. It looks Super. I'm available Tues. and Wed. next week... Drop me a line if you need another partner!
