I have news, the "5.8" chimney at Yin and Yang in Kraft Rocks is not 5.8 despite what the guidebook says. More like 4th class. If you want, just go to RR and climb Healy's Haunted House and Group Therapy, to the right of Tunnel Vision. If you can cruise both of those in one day then step it up for Epi.

Isn't Beyond Clothing = climbing naked? It seems like kind of a "not ironic just dumb" name for a clothing company. Like at least Beyond Fleece makes softshells rather than fleece but a company named Beyond Clothing should be genetically engineering humans to grow seal fur or goat wool or something.

It's really just a fuck load of scrambling with a couple pitches of 5.7 to add up to 2000m of elevation gain. Bivying on that is like bivying on a long hike to a short climb.

You go with two daisies (like normal, one to each aider) and one adjustable fifi. Then your daisies stay clipped full-length and full strength and you just winch up to each piece with the fifi while staying backed up. With adjustable daisies, you are replacing two full strength daisies with two body weight only links. Which sucks for a lot of reasons. It might be slightly simpler because you have 2 connectors off your harness instead of 3 (2 daisys + one adjustable fifi) but you are trading safety for simplicity. In either case you have the rope there I guess but I just think it's simpler to only have one adjustable thing to play with. Place piece, clip daisy to it, hook in fifi, winch in, hang/balance, place next piece, clip other daisy, hang, move fifi up and repeat. Really fast.

Today while driving around in a tired and coffee-deprived state I came up with the idea of the "beta-request jinxed" climb. Maybe i was thinking of the Supercouloir on Deltaform but whatever. The hypothetical climb I am descibing would be one that some parties just go out and do (successfully) but one that any party that asks for beta about online will ALWAYS have a serious accident or epic on. Are there any such climbs and if so, what are they? Aside from Supercouloir. I think maybe the last 2 parties to ask about that one online either had to get rescued, or died on the route. skull Don't quote me on that though.
