well, there's your problem - you're bummed from not sending. don't let it bother you. if they're just curious hikers i don't see any reason to lie to them. a lot of times you've just attempted to do something they wouldn't dream of trying. if they're assholes, give them a short answer and keep going. no need to be an asshole back just because you're mad or disappointed at yourself. people are curious by nature - that's how they learn.

been a pretty nice summer in seattle so far! it was 99 in reno yesterday. (supposed to be even hotter in bishop today.) thank god the rest of the country has air conditioning!

the flight i was on did not go "right down the axis of the valley." the only reason i even saw it is because i noticed the change in the landscape from brown to gray and started actively looking ...

i can't believe the police wouldn't get involved. would they not even let you file a police report???

never been to woodinville. saw a neat show at jazz alley many years ago. someone i'd never heard of but she was from the same place as cesaria evora and she was awesome! anyway, i'm still thinking i'd like to see arturo. maybe tomorrow.
