i recommend camping at porcupine flat. $8/site. no running water, but you avoid the crowds, save money, and it's a sweet place to stay. bugs not even NEARLY as bad as the place we stayed just over the pass either.
strange movie. if you can call that a movie. interesting experience. not recommended for the general audience, but if you have a dark fucked-up mind like i do you just might enjoy it.
"golfer's route" - a very fun 5.7 on engorged nubbins like you wouldn't believe. i also recommend "hermaphrodite flake" but don't go around the flake; you *must* go under/through for the experience. (rap off after the flake.) it's only rated 5.4 but feels like 5.8 until you get out of the flake.
the show's at 4:15. there won't be a line. and it's less than 10 minutes from here.
aren't you supposed to be working?
btw, i got good stuff with my $10 gift certificate at rei. two different flavors of dr. bronner's ... and some spf 40 sunscreen.
anybody driving down for this ... or just driving down to salt lake? i'm looking to cut transportation costs by carpooling. the main show is 8/14-8/17.
anybody interested in driving up to skaha for a few to several days in the not too distant future? i haven't made any plans yet ... just sending out a feeler. i think it's pretty much running in the 80's right now.
