Nothing really. However, with all of the gapers out there, there is nothing that is going to prevent stupidity and carelessness. Hell, if the harness was comfy, and did not weigh much more, or cost too much more, I might buy it, but not just because it is "safer".

echo?

All the bomberfications are with Spectra. It's not like there's any webbing on the harness that wouldn't be there anyway. And anyway, accidents do happen. And accidents still will happen no matter how much you overdesign a harness...

I just might go rent that this weekend, it has been awhile, I need a good full hour and a half of laughing "We have a piper down! I repeat, a piper is down."

"If it's not Scottish, it's CRAP!!!" One of my favorite sketches on SNL. Isn't that from So I married an Axe Murderer? still Mike Meyers though... That flick is hilarious. "Head! Paper! Now! Move that melon of yours and get the paper if you can! Haulin' that gargantuan cranium about! I'm not kidding, that boy's head's like Sputnik! Spherical, but quick pointy in parts. Well, that was off sides, wasn't it? He'll be crying himself to sleep tonight on his *huge* pillow!"

The only nalgenes I own are ones that I have found. none ever had names on them. Just scratch it out and keep it. finders keepers, losers weepers.

I've got a Handspring Visor, I have had it for a couple of years or so. I use it a hell of a lot at times, then I will go for awhile and only use it as an expensive address keeper. With as many of them as there are out there. If I lost mine, I would end up buying another one, but probably would not spend much.

WTF??? Last I heard that has gone clean for a long time, and is relatively easy if you have a cam hook... I have taken a good look up it and there is nothing that sticks out that it needs a pin...

Would you rank Momentary Lapse of Reason with the others you have listed? The Wall, WYWH, and DSOTM are all classics, then I think they stumbled on MLoR, it is not bad, but nowhere near as good as the others. I have a special affinity for the tunes "Signs of Life/Learning to Fly" and "Yet Another Movie" that causes me some internal pain not to include it with the others. Let's just say it stems from partners lost to time and fate. For them... ..sobo

aaaahhh, Granite Point. I actually learned to climb on that small rack a long while ago. Haven't been back in ages. It was fun since it was close to UI, but definitely not a destination.. Also, Hyperspud rocks!!! bought my first set of gear from John when he was still working out of his house. I am glad to see him succeed. He is a great guy.

I was up on Orbit the other week, and some losers thought that that webbing on one of the rap anchors was no good. They did the good thing and cut it. But then they just left the webbing on the ledge . What is up with that? Those metolius anchors rock , and take care of shit like this.

Amen brother In addition, all of those groups tend to be annoying as hell, just because there are so damn many of them all in one spot. any group can be bad in my mind, be it a group of friends, or a guided group. I have met morons everywhere, even many pairs and single climbers.
