screws with cranks are good but you can save $$$ by buying a couple of non-cranks (about 20-30$ cheaper a screw) and using those screws for belays and suchlike where speed placement is not so necessary.
red rocks, j-tree, and bishop, and queen creek arizona. max drive is about 6 hrs between any one to the other so its easy to spend a half day moving if weather sux at one or the other.
if a hot climbing trend is one with the most number of people doing it then i predict hottest climbing trend of 2004 will be top roping easy routes, same as it was in 2003.

the grivel 360 is also pretty cool but its a bitch to rack. however its one of the few screws you can put in an ice filled corner crack.
