  1. The main advantage of the yellow pad is that it makes you look like a hardman. When you see a picture of some sponsored alpine hero having sex with death on the Longdik Face of Snaffu Parbat in Alpinist Mag he's always got a yellow hardman pad strapped on the outside of his pack. Mostly because it's light, I believe. You can get those yellow pads a lot thinner and lighter than Ridge Rest, like 5mm.
  2. Green Z-rest!!!
  3. How long was Uma in the coma in Kill Bill 1?
  4. I seem to recall that at the time the photos of Croft on Airstream were first published there were nay-sayers* on this very site whining about how Peter C had bolted "totally protectable cracks" * It may even have been Dwayner!
  5. bunny is having bundt experience
  6. Reading Gator's story about the guy doing the 50 state highpoints in winter http://www.cascadeclimbers.com/threadz/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/445238/an/0/page/0/gonew/1#UNREAD and also about Aron Ralston climbing the Colorado 14'ers in winter Made me wondcer if anyone has ever done the 100 Washington highest peaks in winter? Has Mox even had a winter ascent?
  7. Worth netting
  8. If anyone gets sued it should be the rancher for creating a cow dung hazard on land that was to be burned. No different than pouring puddles of gasoline everywhere if you ask me.
  9. So they have the "Ice Series" with caffiene...how about the "Inca Series" with coca?
  10. My circle of friends is expando.
  11. Today is 3/21. How is it you are posting a trip report for today containing reference to 2PM at 9 AM? Did you buy some of those time machine crystals off the Internet?
  12. fat people always sleep warmer
  13. Why are there private cows on public land... thus creating flammable dung
  14. I've experienced a bundt cake. "Abundtcake" is alphabetically pretty close to "abundance". But I'm not looking for new climbing partners at this time. Cascade jewellers or no.
  15. That wasn't me.
  16. Assuming your generalizations are true, and ignoring a number of religious groups who oppose both abortion and euthanasia, it would be more accurate to suggest your liberals support voluntary killing (abortion has the mother's consent and euthenasia the patient's) while conservatives support only involuntary killing (whether it be the murderer who doesn't want to die, or the civilian in the foreign country or soldier on the battlefield). This is more consistent and also makes the conservatives look remarkably bloodthirsty.
  17. what is an assmonkey!
  18. You can administer euthanasia without drugs...for instance by removing the heart and other vital organs. I guess the difference between starvation and euthanasia is passive vs. active.

    MUFFY"S DIARY

The frequency of the posting in Muffy's Blog has decreased notably lately. But snoboy's blog is just plain DEAD
  20. If she really is a vegetable I don't think one can make a humane distinction between starvation and rapid euthanasia?
  21. That's "every SPERM is sacred" Personally I think letting her starve to death is BS. It would be better to euthanize her quickly in order to have transplantable organs. Do some good, save some lives.
  22. Wow, everyone has to admit that tree is spectacular. PETA wouldn't approve but man it is classic. PETA? People for the Ethical Treatment of Arbors?
  23. Ya I saw him last year, and he was refusing to live in housing, he was sleeping in Stanley Park at night.
  24. Justin Brown went up Snazzy on Tuesday and took this nice photo for me I added the arrows. As you can see the unclimbed lines on the left, are much longer.
  25. There's an incredibly high rate of burnout when you are a child prodigy and realize that 99% of the world are idiots. A good friend of mine from elementary school who was completing university level math courses in elementary school, has been living on the streets since 1989. Instead of killing himself like this guy he took continuous megadoses of hallucinogens. Being smart is not always a survival trait if it leaves you maladapted to a dumb world.
