along with drinking some red wine we should all go drill a bathook hole! who in this day of "Extreme Carbon Fiber Met5 curved shaft toothbrushes" would have the gumption to admit that their latest, greatest technology is, basically, absurd? he's gone his legacy lives on

I suggest that you don't make assumptions about the experience climbers may or may not posses. I'll be concentrating on trad subjects as soon as Spring Break roles around. Thanks for the concern. Your mark has just been revised to a C for talking back to your TA. Also you spelled "rolls" rong Keep it up and you may be forced to repeat this semester. [ 02-28-2002: Message edited by: Dru ]

Ok I confess the "Friends of Mt. Judge Howay Society" is planning to start a ferry boat service up the lake and they are paying me to generate interest in it... I get a free ride if they sign up more than 30 clients. It's all [ 02-28-2002: Message edited by: Dru ]

Those are specialized vegetablebelaytrees! The Judge is cool. The Judge is the Mt. Index of the Fraser Valley except it is bigger and climbed less. Maybe that should be the Mt Fury of the Fraser Valley..... Judge Howay I always had it back of my list but now it is in the coveted OBJECTIVES FOR 2002 section

quote: Originally posted by dyno merchant: no body seems to mind if bouldering happens in the mountain alpine meadows!?! sounds good! I guess it's open season on pristine mountain settings. Bring on the pads! Oh wait...I'd have to hike with my pad for and hour...never mind. I'll just go to larrabee and drink beer this aint colorado, i see lots and lots of alpine meadows and few to no boulderers. and in enchantments, for instance, most boulders are sitting on rock, not on colorado rocky mountain type big flat meadows. nothing much to trash there but the odd larch and the 'pee wino' goats will probably spot you if you fall off so you dont need a pad...

I remember when Bart actually sent news to Climbing Mag, R&I and R&I conditions page that he had done the "presumed 2nd ascent" of Body Shop at Marble Canyon except he didnt know what it was called so he called it "an unnamed WI6" and hedidnt know that it had had like 10* ascents the year before or something.... * i made this number up. i dont know how many ascents it had had. more than 1 though cause i saw some photos from somebody else that had done it the previous year and never sprayed about it to the mags. -
