I've been looking at the same two boots and a few others. I understood the lacing on the Trango Ice EVO to be specifically designed to work on the heel lift issue. I'm confused ... you get an inch of heel lift, that's insane! I'm having a hard time picturing the amount of slop that must exist between your ankle and the inside of the boot. Please elaborate.

the one I have was made by Camp .. it weights approx 13 oz. A real shovel gets it done a hell of a lot faster. The Voile shovel I have weights approx 25 oz ... to me it's worth the extra weight .... if you want it you can have it
