  1. Went out there today. Was really nice in the sun. T-shirt weather even around noon.
  2. Vantage sucks and so do you. See you out there maybe.

Or IUD's? Aren't those technically abortion since they don't prevent conception, just prevent the fertilized egg from implanting?

    What about with RU486?
  5. Cool then I'll be able to tell if Breakfast of Champions or Davis-Holland are better choices for that iffy day in May.
  6. I think it's all about diverting attention away from the Texas Democratic primary where Republicans are going to sneakily (and illegaly I might add!) vote in droves for Hillary Clinton so as to get her nominated by the Dems because she'll be easy for the Republican machine to beat come November (at which time they will shoot down another spy satellite to divert attention away from Diebold)
  7. Dude! You've just posted direction to the crag. The Trout Creekers are going to be pissed!

    Wa State Caucus

I don't remember him ever attacking a TR.
  9. McCain nominee = let the weaseling begin. Watch the straight talkin' transform to weasel wordin' before your very eyes ....
  10. I think it's ridiculous that you are selling a guide that doesn't tell people how to get to the cliff. Granted it's only $5, but $5 is too much for something useless (to one not in the know). From your story above it sounds like this guidebook project started off as something to pass around to friends. But now that you are advertising it on a web page and in Climbing you should definitely clearly state in the description on the web page that this guide does not contain directions to the cliff. Otherwise, you're potentially ripping people off.
  11. Suggested routes at Vantage
  12. Going to George, Washington this weekend certainly holds aesthetic appeal. And the weather is supposed to be good. forecast
  13. Look! I used the quote button! Worked for me.
  14. If I were you, I would buy one of those houses in the Smoke Bluffs. That would do the trick!
  15. This sentence seems to impugn all of Islam not just fundamentalists. And I agree that the treatment of women in fundamentalist Islam is repugnant. Are woman as powerless and valueless among all practicing muslims or do we just hear about the worst?
  16. I was of the impression that there are hundreds of millions of Muslims (billion perhaps?) around the world and that not all of them, or even a majority of them are not quite so reactionary, violent and intolerant. But I could be wrong. I haven't done a poll or anything. Perhaps it is all black and white. Good and evil. All Muslims around the world are intolerant and violently so. And Islam in general and in totality is evil.

Better would be Obama for Prez with Clinton for Chief of Staff
  18. sorta on topic. This cartoon reminded me of the punch line of "There Will Be Blood".
  19. Listening helps a lot (i.e. don't wear an IPod). Find routes through neighborhoods, not arterials. Combine those two and you'll just about always know if a car is within striking distance (unless they have one of them newfangled eelectric jobbers). If you get hit by too many more cars investing in a hunter's orange shirt might be a good idea.

Berkeley would probably secede from the Union were the confederate flag not so seriously un-PC

I wonder if the Federal Govt. will feel compelled to act. That would be cool. Get the FBI or some Marines to enforce the law.

Yeah shit, those protesters really blew it. They had a chance to set fire to a police-state building with impunity (and tacit endorsement from the police), and all they did was turn away some kid with a backpack.
  23. I've taken my kids to a couple birthday parties (and one of my kids had a party) where they ask that instead of bringing a present for the birthday kid, to bring a donation for the food bank. That is such a great win-win solution if your kid is not totally toy-crazy (one of mine is the other isn't) and you're sick of filling up your house with worthless plastic crap.
