Dave_Schuldt Posted January 15, 2003 Posted January 15, 2003 tim Eyman sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote
j_b Posted January 15, 2003 Posted January 15, 2003 has anyone figured out the total cost in fees to sustain our parking and access habit? state parks, national parks (rainier, ?), snow park permit, demo fee, what else? Quote
JoshK Posted January 15, 2003 Posted January 15, 2003 Tim Eyman has to be one of the most useless pieces of flesh that has inhabited this earth in quite a while. The amazing thing is he gets a good precentage of the idiots in this state to vote for his idiotic self-serving crap. Quote
Gary_Yngve Posted January 15, 2003 Posted January 15, 2003 I'm ignorant... what state parks are of interest to climbers? The only one that I recognized was Peshatin. http://www.parks.wa.gov/alpha.asp Quote
fleblebleb Posted January 15, 2003 Posted January 15, 2003 You're forbidden to do anything other than work and sleep Gary so stop spraying and get back to it. Incidentally, does your advisor let you eat? Quote
j_b Posted January 15, 2003 Posted January 15, 2003 peshastin, beacon rock, steamboat rock, any more? part or all of index eventually should become one Quote
Gary_Yngve Posted January 15, 2003 Posted January 15, 2003 Grrrr... just turned down a ski trip for this weekend because I have to work. Fuck, I worked through Xmas. I worked through New Years. He had a cow when I told him Friday that I had unmovable prior plans for Saturday. I haven't been to the mountains since Dec 7. I add more and more features, just as he tells me, and the results still suck. This bullshit is driving me insane. Quote
ivan Posted January 15, 2003 Posted January 15, 2003 drift? rangers are for yelling at, not paying...haven't had too many problems at beacon yet (though my iranian friend and i did climb the barricade on the trail right after new years to return to an irate puppy...something about trespassing, i don't know, i wasn't paying attention) having out of date, out of state license plates seems to help Quote
Bill_Simpkins Posted January 15, 2003 Posted January 15, 2003 LARRABEE State Park!!!!!!!!!! Lot's of kick-ass bouldering and some lead routes on AWESOME sandstone by the water and railroad tracks. That place is littered with us climbers up here in B'Ham. Great and endless bouldering all year round. Who can forget about that place? Peshastin is good too. I found a few spots on the road to park where there is no fee. By the way I addressed this problem a few weeks ago on the same board: old thread, same subject Quote
mtn_mouse Posted January 16, 2003 Posted January 16, 2003 You can always ride into the park on your bicycle and use it for free! Quote
j_b Posted January 16, 2003 Posted January 16, 2003 LARRABEE State Park!!!!!!!!!! oops! I used to boulder there in the mid 90's and apparently forgot about it By the way I addressed this problem a few weeks ago on the same board oops again! I see that someone already totalled the bill. Quote
