Lukas Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 I currently live in Seattle and work in Woodinville (30min commute). I'm considering moving to Monroe (20min commute) thinking that I could also get out to Index during the week. Are there a good amount of climbers at Index during the week after work? Where do they live/work? Quote
olyclimber Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Anyone at Index during the week is obviously smoking the meth. Quote
AlpineK Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Based on the eastbound after work traffic I've seen on HWY-2 lots of folks live upvalley but work in Monroe, Everett, or Seattle. Quote
ivan Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Anyone at Index during the week is obviously smoking the meth. and/or taking a break from shagging their sister to salvage scrap metal chucked off the top of the town walls Quote
Bronco Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 As a 10 year vet of Monroe ('94-'04) you're kidding yourself to think you'll get to Woodinville in 20 minutes during rush hour. More like 45 minutes to an hour on 522. It is close to Index but unless you have a regular partner also close by, it can be difficult to really take advantage of it. The town of Monroe doesn't really have much to offer either. I'd say get a place close to work so you'll have more free time. Quote
genepires Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 if you leave for work before 6am, the drive to woodinville is about 20 minutes. after that, it is as previous described. coming back to monroe in the afternoon is not as bad strangley enough. monroe will be better destination whe the walmart gets built. give me a pm sometime Quote
Bronco Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Just realized I'm not losing my mind and don't have a computer virus. Quote
