There was no profanity, personal attacks, porn, or slander. The reason for the ban was listed as 'tasteless'. Tasteless? Since when has anyone been banned for being tasteless. Or is this just a 'good ol' boys' club where only high rollers can get away with submitting profane, obscene, and hateful posts. And lowly lurkers get punished for making insignificant infractions. Â after everyone gets to cyber know you a little better people are more willing to ask or guess that you may just be joking or whatever... Â many people who post here work closely with rescue workes... we need those guys, lets not go out of our way to offend them needlessly... kay? One time my friend and I were hiking up granite mountain in spring. Some guys were in a hurry behind us and we thought they were in SAR training. Turns out they asked us to carry their packs up to a real rescue spot. We were just out on a hike. Â It's funny when the rescuers need rescuing. I'm glad we have them folks though. Might need it one day. Just send me the competent ones. Quote

This post should be about censorship. Â Avatars are pretty easy to come by on this site. In reality, it doesn't matter that the avatar 'deadguy' was banned.
