Fox had an article earlier this morning about how Washington state needs to hire more private companies to advertise what our park system offers more effectively and run our parks like businesses, with more concessions, etc. They provided a photo of the Lost Arrow as an example of what our state parks have to offer.

 

A piece about a man how shot a police dog has already replaced it, unfortunately. Anyone know where are park system moved that thing to?

Washington State is considering being the first in the nation to make its Parks Department self-sustaining. As recently as 2009 the legislature appropriated $94 million toward the operating budget of the state’s 117 parks. But now, facing a $3 billion budget deficit, Democratic Gov. Christine Gregoire is proposing cutting funding to zero.

 

How about being the first in the nation to outsource the corrections dept to China? Long term prisoners, lifers, get shipped off? They can be productive and help build Apple products and stuff? You're welcome! Need more ideas? here ya are, flesh these out:

 

*Baby Tax.

 

*Rent a prisoner.

 

*Coke Machines next to the road.

 

*On the highway, where you see those crosses where someone has been killed? Lease the space. Renewal form letters are heavily guilt laden.

 

*Wild Horse uhhh, lets call it the "enumclaw" program, and read between the lines. Double down and get the movie industry involved for some seriously unique man/horse love residuals. Need more?
