olyclimber Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 dude. the environment is a personal choice. a choice between each individual's body and the environment. stop the government from intruding on this sacred space! Quote
KaskadskyjKozak Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 Ya all run around screaming "HOPE AND CHANGE". Now we've got the "CHANGE" and no one is happy. No ya all are looking to change back. IMO, the only way to reduce the morass and this kind of continual pressure from big government is to reduce the size of it. That's what I'm hoping for - less government. I think that the only way to make it happen is to try and give them less money and the best way to do that is to vote for those who want that to happen. We've already tried cutting taxes and increasing spending under both the R's and the D's. Hasn't worked out so well. Quote

You're right. That's why we should elect Ron Paul and disband the EPA. We can let people prosecute environmental damage in the personal liability courts. only the bone could think that was a good idea. Selling off the National Parks could raise money and decrease the size of government. The government should sell off all them extra nukes they have in storage then rent out the warehouses and make some money. Quote
rob Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 [ Selling off the National Parks could raise money and decrease the size of government. Absolutely the government should sell the national parks. The constitution doesn't say anything about national parks! DRILL BABY DRILL! RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL!!! Quote

Sam Furley Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 As a Libertarian, Ron Paul does not believe that the Federal Government should own land in other states and instead believes that the land should be the property of each individual state and it should be up to them what they do with it. Clearly a radical idea. Quote

Clearly a radical idea. not a radical idea for the original 13 state perhaps, but the others were created out of land that was federal property first, so it doesn't seem counter-intutive that the feds should still have say over how its used for the greater good. Sam Furley Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 It seems like a pretty close-minded viewpoint to say that things shouldn't be changed just for the sake of preserving things the way they are. YMMV. Quote
