G-spotter
Iron-on patch on the inside, seam seal outside. Or, tape on inside, seam seal outside then when dry peel tape and seam-sea inside.

rob
Duct tape. When it wears off, put more on.
denalidave
Cry about the damage or rejoice at the first-of-many battle scar? Now it's officially broken in and you can take it off the pedestal and use it for what it was meant for. Being the gear whore that I am, I still have lots of clothing that is still not quite broken in enough to abuse. My therapist just rolls his eyes and shakes his head... Dan_Miller
Drew (aka G-spotter) supplies some valuable information to my way of thinking. That's fairly close to how I'd deal with my cherished garment, were I you.
BigSky
+1 on tape and seam grip.
snoboy
+2, but my usual is to tape outside, seam grip or freesole on inside. Nearly invisible repair. If it's a high stress area, do a layer on the outside too.
